Home Alone and Home Alone 2 are two of my favorite Christmas movies, both of which I watch every December since they were released.
add Jingle All the Way to this list. I'll watch those three. Sometimes I'll watch a Christmas Story or The Family Man.
Home alone and home alone are the 2 movies i have to watch During december for it to truly feel like Christmas
I saw them like 5 times each this December. And some late November. Never gets old

Home Alone (1 & 2) are a traditional Christmas watch for me, along with A Christmas Story (& It's a Wonderful Life).
I had a celebrity crush on Hillary Wolf. Since we are the same age, I feel better about it..

An age thing, used to think the mom wasn't pretty as a kid, then got to my 20's and rewatched the films and found her quite attractive, got to my 30's and thought "wow she was so hot" I think it was as she had short hair in the films I saw her in and frumpy by todays standards.

@@dino91001 she definitely looked older. Don't get me wrong, she's an insanely beautiful woman (still is). But, there are plenty of actors and actresses in Hollywood in their mid-30s who are still playing high school and college students. That role felt like someone at least in their 40s. So hearing she was so young is surprising.

I thought of a home alone where Kevin and his wife leave their 8 year old home alone by mistake. And Marv being the person Kevin's son is at first scared of but becoming friends and Marv stopping him from being harmed by the criminals.

So all of Kevin’s siblings were 13 during the first movie.

Well, they weren't playing 13yo's in the movie. Older actors often play as younger kids. So they were probably supposed to be a year or two apart with Kevin being the youngest of course.
After 13 children are not so much children anymore, at least visually, so they took them as old they could to play as young as they could. That was not smth I was wondering, seeing the film in the 90s though, but that they are SO different. At least a small resemblance, but no, like an adopted bunch ...

Joe Pesci, I believe, made time to fulfill his role in Home Alone aside from his mega project during the same filming year for the gangster classic Goodfellas both released in 1990. What a full year of recognition Pesci had from that time forth along with My Cousin Vinny of which would be released the same year he'd fulfill his role in Home Alone 2 - Lost in New York in 1992. What a busy couple of years alone the Pescster had in the limelight of stardom and would be throughout the remainder of the 90s alone.
