It’s going on 8 months since I’ve finally said YES to God and trusted in Him whole heartedly. He’s been keeping and sustaining me. I never thought it was possible. That homosexual spirit is real and strong. We definitely can’t do it our self. It takes God and God alone. But you MUST go to Him and be open to hearing and obeying His word. Reggie, Reggie, Reggie.....I thank God for you! To be honest, I've been thanking God for you for a very long time. As one of your youth leaders in the past, I've been so proud of you and the man of God you have become. I've been following you and your journey with Christ and ministry since being reconnected back with you on social media. This podcast was/is so necessary!!! An actual answer to my prayers! I have a daughter who is dealing with same sex attraction, which has been very difficult for me to deal with and understand as a Christian parent. I'm in the process of reading Jackie Perry's book for an understanding, but this 1 hour podcast coming from someone I personally know has helped me more, thus far! Thank you so much for your transparency! Thank you, Ezekiel, for asking the perfect questions for a clearer understanding. Our church is doing a Bible study now called, "Experiencing God". In that study, one of the main points is that God is always working. This podcast being exposed to the world is a perfect example of God at work because this can free so many people. The enemy is trying to have my child, but I'm rebuking that demon in the name of Jesus. This spirit has already affected the progress of her young adulthood, and I refuse to allow Satan will win this battle. I am a mother who will not back down to this experience of sin. I heard the voice of God say, "Let her go, and I'll do the rest. " This happened just a week ago and I've been attacked personally twice since then. But I am still trusting God and holding on to my faith in God. I'm going to share this podcast with her in hopes that it may be received as a word not only from God, but also from someone that can relate. Thank you, thank you, thank you for not only your transparency, but also your boldness in the faith and your obedience to God. This could have not been anything but God in such a time as this to allow this podcast to be created. Especially, as you stated in the conversation, that when it's addressed in the church no one really knows how to help!!! So much profound truth was in this conversation and I'm so grateful for you! May God continue to use you to change the world through HIS Word!! This has blessed me today and I know it will bless many others!! Always much love for you! 😘

I do not believe that the speaker meant predator in the very specific way of one who commits sexual assault or anything like that. I think he meant predator in a very general sense of someone who just pursues. Like how the speaker said how he was pursued ("victim" used loosely) but then began initiating sexual contact ("predator" used loosely). I do hope this helps. Though I could have heard and received him wrong. I will gladly concede to any clarity and corrections. Peace.

That has not changed.. if it has with others , praise God for them but everyone’s testimony is not the same. The CHURCH was the one who let me know what they assumed I was with name calling and dreadful sermons that used scriptures by twisting the interpretations and stories in the Bible to label them as God’s wrath against homosexuals. Romans and Genesis that needed to be researched before yelling out sermons which are both used by believers and unbelievers to this day. You can lie, steal, even commit adultery but be gay and it’s a major sin!! I was gay when I was born period.. and my feelings have not changed but my body has been brought under subjection!! My flesh has had to die but my attractions are still the same !! SO WHEN people say I was brought out.. what do you mean? Now you love women? Now you can get married and have a family, because most Christian’s believe that denotes deliverance…. ? IT MEANS NOTHING, however if that’s what you can do I praise God for you, but everyone is not the same. Also to be homosexual does not always equal having sex! Most equate the two. There are many who are able to be honest about their struggle but remain celibate!! LET’S GET REAL HERE! Just because you follow Jesus does not always turn you straight!! Paul said “ I HAVE A THORN IN MY FLESH! I SOUGHT THE LORD THRICE BUT HE DID NOT TAKE IT AWAY BUT SAID MY GRACE IS SUFFICIENT!! .. Although I hear these type of post a lot.. they do not answer for all gay people and the battle between gay and the church rages on. THE CHURCH NEEDS A LITTLE MORE GRACE…. HOMOSEXUALITY IS NOT THE PROBLEM But the hate and attacks from people who say they know God. Get some people who can show you the raw truth of the matter… then I’ll rejoice more!!

@thabangmogale5565 My brother our sexuality never changes, don't allow such stories to confuse you, there's nothing wrong with being homosexual. In some cases people were not born homosexual but abuse(usually sexual) made them that way but even in cases like that one may remain gay even after they've healed from the trauma because you would have evolved into being gay due to your circumstances and it's not wrong, we are not the body or our sexuality, we are consciousness. Addiction of any sort is a problem including pornography but it's not homosexuality that's making you to be addicted to porn, anyone can be a porn addict and there's usually deeper emotional reasons for that ie unaddressed trauma or repressed feelings etc

The only choice in this equation has nothing to do with sexuality (because that is not a choice)… it’s yours to remain chained to a fantasy that one day, you will be the one that makes him straight. It will not happen. He is outletting his true self in ways you likely are unaware because he is gay and a human being. At some point, when he runs out out mechanisms to tamp down his gayness, he will turn to you as the cause of his pain. I beg you to head off that inevitability and set the both of you free. Love is not judgement and judgement is so deeply rooted in why gay ppl remain closeted. Let go of that judgement and give love a chance for you both.

Anecdotal experiences from individuals with internalised homophobia will not teach any of you in the Christian faith about Homosexuality! Why use the anecdotes of individuals to claim that gay can be prayed away? Jackie Hill Perry already testified to the fact that all the praying & even marriage to a man hasn't taken away her affections for women.
There are many, in fact the vast majority of people who are not heteronoromative or heterosexual who are completely fine with who they are and how they show up in the world.

    • @Frimzeey
      @Frimzeey 19 дней назад

@PWard324 that's the black communities' problem. It's not only the church's job to educate you. You must educate yourself. And even within those confinements it's based in ignorance and avoidance. Please further educate yourself on this matter.
I DO NOT intend to disrespect, minimize, or trigger anyone/ anyones religion or religious practices and beliefs. If you are easily triggered this comment is not for you. Engage at your own risk.
Being as respectful as I can to this situation i must say first and foremost this is incredibly one saided and most of all ignorant.
I appreciate the conversation that was had and the delivery at some points but overall this is based in misinformation.
      First:
One fatal flaw within the black community is the tendency to behave and think as a hive mind ; Taking in and regurgitating information without doing proper research or having the right conversations with the right people.
Judging from this mans experience its clear that he is Bisexual .
(Bisexual(s) /Bisexuality: a romantic and/or sexual attraction toward both males and females, to more than one gender)
People within the black community unfortunately do not see this as an actual proclivity and gloss over the realness of this sexual orientation.
If you are going to talk about Homosexuality it would have been more beneficial to speak with an actual gay/homosexual man.
(Homosexual(s) / Homosexuality: a romantic and/or sexual attraction EXCLUSIVELY/ ONLY towards the same sex and/or gender)
Being bisexual and being homosexual are two different orientations and should be treated as such.
      Second:
An exclusive sexual orientation cannot and has not been successfully "changed" meaning a heterosexual has never been "changed" into a homosexual. A homosexual has never been "changed" into a heterosexual.
Even within bisexuality there is so "change" just because they are engaging with the opposite sex does not mean they are no longer romantically or sexually attracted to the same sex or vise versa.
What people mistake as "change" is simply the suppression of ones sexuality against their own natural inclinations and happiness.
What alot (alot...not all) of individuals apart of the Christian community do is promote this idea of orientation change to the world when its based in miseducation. When you do actual research on the matter you find out that these "orientational changed" individuals are merly bisexual.
Messages like these has always had bisexuals individuals to the forefront in the place of homosexuals because bisexuals can actively choose rather or not they want engage in the same sex while STILL having an attraction to the opposite sex as homosexuals cannot.
However, this does not speak to the gay community or the gay experience. As bisexuals have the privilege of being able to live happily with either sex, a privilege that gays / homosexuals do not have access to due to them only being attracted to the same sex exclusivly.
Even when reported homosexuals "repress" their sexuality they're pushed into depression, anxiety, low self esstem and unfortunately some commit suicide.
While there will be others who still engage in their sexual orientation in private but lie to the public that they've been "changed" also known as a (Down Low/ DL) person.
      Third:
Sticking with the theme of misinformation and the unwillingness to do actual research within the black community. The bible has been translated through many centries, interpreted through many diffrent languages and has actively had many scriptures tampered with and taken out of the text.
Alot of people dont know just how many words and transcripts were taken out of context. in addition to that most definitely dont know about the misisng books that was stripped from the bible due to the readers and scholars claiming that "it was inconsistent"
One reported book is called "The Book Of Enoch." Amongst others.
      For example:
In Leviticus 18:22 in the Bible is often cited to condemn homosexuality and reads, "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is an abomination". Or in other interpretations it says, "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination"
In the original untranslated scripture it did not speak of men lying with other men it spoke of a MAN lying with a BOY (pedophilia) not homosexuality. The term "homosexuality" wasnt even brought up into the bible until 1946 when the word was coined, created and PUT into the scriptures.
If you are serious about scripture and ACTUALLY informating yourself on this matter I advocate for you to look into the books and documentaries explaining this. I specifically recommend the documentary
"1946: The Mistranslation That Shifted Culture"
Ontop of those FACTS (not opinions)
Most people specifically within the black community dont know that this religion was forced onto our ancestors. Many people of color during the slave trade was forced to assimilate with white america in order to stay safe. This was done in order to make our people forget about our tribes, traditions, cultures, and spirituality. To look upon a "white" God as our savior. These tactics were a way to brainwash us into their forced reality.
      Fourth:
Furthermore, its so important to do your own research and not just lean on what others tell you.
      1. First being gay was a mental disorder
That was debunked and a faulse.
      2. Then being gay was against nature.
That was debunked as well. As all species have displayed bisexual and/or exclusive homosexual orientations. (Again reserch)
      3. And currently when all of those claims have failed now its a "peronsal choice/ lifestyle choice"
Which has been and still is being debunked infront of our eyes. Being gay/bisexual has never been the problem its people using misinformation and misguided ignorance to push an idea that has been used in a untruthful manner.
We are here and we will always be here. You dont have to accept it but it is reality. I gave you the information to properly educate yourself and now its up to you to take action on this. Education is everything! Educate before you speak!
      Thank you for your time.

@@Frimzeey I appreciate your need to try and educate me. And I honestly do see this point of view from a sociological standpoint but theres no debate here. People who try and disregard the Bible (almost always to suit their own personal agendas because they love the sin that theyre in) never cease to amaze me. And youre entitled to believe Gods word or not, but it stands. Gods word is truth and thats final! You dont have to believe that. Now heres my question for you since you like to educate? Were you molested? Where do you think the root of this confusion comes from? And how come people in this community arent standing up against child sexual abuse as strongly as they do their right to be gay? If youre bi, youre gay. If you have a sexual desire to be with the same sex, you are gay (no matter how cleverly crafted your paragraphs are). And to be gay is an unnatural desire. God is not the author of confusion. I dont want the worlds information or education. Let God be true and every man a liar. You dont get to change Gods design to fit your narrative, your desires, etc. You know what His will is and thats why you all go so hard to try and spin an alternate truth. But hey, if He isnt your God, you certainly dont have to submit to His will or His way. Thats what free will is but you also dont get to try and call right wrong and wrong right. I believe you deserve respect because youre human. Your sexuality is no ones business. If your identity is defined by that, thats the bigger problem at hand. Who are you without highlighting who you sleep with? Sheesh. Thank YOU for your time!

God is faithful and I am starting to truly see the importance of "holding on","fighting the good fight of faith", and praying. My story is similar to Reggies and I appreciate you for the transparency. I couldn't articulate then what happening in my life at a young age. I never wanted to be apart of the "community' but I couldn't understand the desires no had a safe space in church to explain them but watching this I see that I wasn't alone and that the enemy obliviously wanted me to feel that way. Isolation is so dangerous in so many ways because when it's happening in pain you feel as if no one cares, no one around you is listening and that you don't have any hope. I begged God for years for someone to relate to me and disciple me so I could get just a glimpse of freedom. But He didn't allow it and I do believe now I would've idolized that relationship which would've ultimately caused me to stumble in more areas. I grateful for this episode, my prayer now is that more of us who are fighting in faith to stay out of our previous lifestyles will band together and minister in sincerity to those who are still in. God bless once again.

Reginald Robinson, I applaud you for your transparency and testimony and All that you have been through. Thank you for allowing God to use you in this way to free many men from their bondages and chains of confusion. You have been brought to the Kingdom for such a time as this for the deliverance and saving of many men who don't know how to break free of these chains of darkness. You are the light God has placed in this dark place in the lives of many. Hopefully we can meet one of these days and share with each other. God Bless you my Brother!

It’s amazing how God works. I just so happen to open up RUclips and this was on the top of my suggestions list. I love the fact that he is so relatable. Everything he dealt with I dealt with this helps so much and it’s so encouraging.

This was powerful. Take the emphasis off of the sin of homosexuality and focus on SALVATION. AMEN. my expression of sin may be different from yours but the key is learning to submit our respective expressions of sin. So POWERFUL!!

Lord CONTINUE to bless these mighty men that have surrendered themselves wholly to you. What an awesome thing to hear them minister the power, grace and mercy of GOD! I LOVE THIS! May they continue to push back the darkness and gain ground in the Kingdom of God, here on earth. Showing other brothers the love of God through community. This is much needed. We have to go deep!
So many broken and confused lives out here!
Our misery can truly become our ministry, when we allow God to deliver us and then use us, to bring others out of bondage.
I was truly blessed by this.
Carry on my brothers, carry on!!!!

God is SO good. Reggie, your story is EXACTLY mine through those younger years and high school. Grew up in the church, loving God….and yet I had THIS. WHY THIS? I just recommitted my life the the Lord 6 mos ago…and asking still…why. I’m changed and it’s a daily work, and I fall, and get back up; but God kept me throughout my craziness. That still small voice always kept me grounded despite what I was doing. I wasn’t that person. So you showing that God used THAT THING as your testimony!! Bro that hit me solid…OF COURSE, God turns what was used for evil and works it for our good!! Maybe THIS is what keeps my edge for God. And that is apparently my testimony. You both NAILED IT ON EVERYTHING YOU SAID. Thank you Jesus for leading me to this video. I want to hear more. How can I connect to resources you have?

Its all sin brother..and this was hinted on during the conversation... I think what makes homosexuality stand out is that it is generally against "nature".. but sins are equal..

There is it's just like he said heterosexual fornication although a demon is more acceptable because more people commit that one...5% of people are homosexual so it's more rare.

I certainly respect your position relative to how you have embraced living your authentic life. I feel exactly the same way. I understand the church's position on same-sex attraction. I fully believe that God truly does not make mistakes. We are who we are the same gender loving people because that is how we were created. I certainly can appreciate the anguish centered around trying to live a life that is pleasing to not only God I loved ones and more importantly ourselves. It takes a tremendous amount of courage to come to the conclusion that you will live your life based on how you feel God has created you. This certainly will not sit well with black church culture and even in some instances are culture period. I applaud your courageousness and I pray that God would grant you favor in every area of your life and more importantly that your life be fulfilled Based on God's purpose for it.

This kind of stories have similar elements
    1. A predatory adult who abuse a child
    2. Blame shifting(most cases back to the child who was abused)
    3. The need to be 'normal' in this case hetero. which emerges from the jealousy of seeing others being unconditionally accepted for being masculine and heterosexuals.
    5. There is a strong sense of wanting acceptance from loved ones(society at large) hence there is a condition to be met which is being 'straight', which pushes the individual to seek possible solutions, in our case they ran to Jesus who redeems them, afterwards they come back to give stories of redemption so that they can feel reborn into what is socially accepted in this case heterosexual.
In my own thinking the answer is simple. Jesus said love your neighbor the way you love yourself.
My opinion is subject to correction.
