When Ezekiel said "unfortunately God does not make provision or excuses for our sin," it all tied into this very moment when i was reading the book of 1 Chronicles. So i believe we all know the story of that one guy (his name was Uzzah) who was struck down by God when he tried to steady the Ark of the covenant from falling during its transportation to the city of David after being neglected for a long time. Now, this is what I didn't know about the story: Two things
1. David knew that he had done something wrong in transporting the ark without even speaking to God (spoke to each of his officers though)and he was angry that his plans for the joyous return of the ark resulted in the death of a man. David let his enthusiasm overshadow his obedience to God.
2. Uzzah died because of Davids mistake. There were SPECIFIC instructions as to how the Ark was to be carried. Not on a cart (like David allowed it to be carried) and certainly not by someone who was not a levite. It was to be carried on their shoulders with poles through its rings. It was NEVER to be touched.
And so what happened here. One King's zeal and another man's concern led to his own death.
GOD DOES NOT MAKE PROVISION FOR SIN, whether you have the greatest intentions. The best gift you can give God is your obedience. And we are graced that we are not struck down for our sin, but we are being called to come to his heavenly throne in repentance. And he will forgive our sins.

As I drove to work this morning, in shame and condemnation I confessed this sin to the Lord. In tears of regret and feeling like a complete failure I poured out my heart to my Heavenly Father. Admitting my fear that He was no longer with me because I’ve failed so many other times and betrayed Him as well as myself in this exact same sin. I begged for forgiveness once again and asked for His grace and mercy. A little bit over 14 hours later, He leads me to your video. You were on my thread as a recommendation. The Lord reminded me through your words that he was still with me and had not rejected me. He reminded me that His love was eternal and did not depend on me but on Him entirely. He reminded me that His blood is still able to wash me clean and make me new. I can stop running from Him because He does not and will not reject me. His love is sufficient.
Thank you Jesus for your love your grace and your mercy. Please restore all who struggle with the sin of sexual immorality. Draw us nearer to you Heavenly Father. Teach us to love you through obedience and fear for your name. Bless this couple for the work you have entrusted to them. Fortify their faith and equip them for every good work you call them to. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.

Great topic…. I’ll be releasing content regarding this topic as well. I’m 52 years old and God delivered me from sex addiction & all forms of sexual immorality. Which included porn, masturbation, massage parlors, and prostitutes. This vicious cycle lasted for over 30 plus years. This is Great work bro. The devil is pissed.
Please pray for me to kick the habit of masturbation. I have had periods of abstinence but I want to be free of this addictive compulsive behavior.

I realize the battle is in the mind...changing my thinking regarding this activity by transforming my mind by the Word of God.....seeing it as sin first of all and seeing myself dead to sin as scripture says. He who is dead is free from sin.... Once my thinking changes then my behavior changes..... true repentance. I have already started . I am making a commitment to change because I want to be like Christ walking in righteousness and Holiness

I don't even remember how I was introduced to it. It started when I was a child. God is truly able to give you complete freedom. I am a witness to this.

Ezekiel thank you for dealing with this sexual vice that many of us struggle with. I understand because my story is similar: don't need images or porn to get aroused.. I discovered masturbation on my own. Once I started it became habitual. As they say old habits die hard.... With that being said; masturbation is not harmless because it can become an addiction. This is how the sin nature works. This struggle is real. Definitely it's a spirit behind this because it is a lust that is never satisfied. Plus it pulls one away from what is the norm: sex within marriage causes one to isolate from others use masturbation to cope with lonliness or depression. Also one becomes focused on self ones body which could be a catalyst for same sex attraction. There are so many layers to this topic. Being quiet and secretive has kept so many in bondage. Bringing it in the light is a start to becoming free. I have a long road ahead but I'm gonna overcome this bad habit.
The level of self-awareness and wisdom for one to have to pinpoint moments seeds were planted is powerful! So many people suffer and feel frustrated with not knowing why they are the way they are - this is a testimony that The Holy Spirit will reveal those seeds so you can uproot them! 🙌🏾
I need this.. lust, sex and temptation are my struggle areas. Never given it over to GOD but I'm going to because it's my biggest block. I can do it. I don't need sex, outside of my husband. If I never marry, I want to be okay, going without sexual sin.
What’s crazy is I literally had a thought this morning like lord I don’t see any topics on overcoming lust and masturbation and I could really use it and here yall go. I just love the lord! Thank you for your transparency
God knows what we need and He'll show up and show out!!! Know that you are not alone in the struggle. So many of us deal with this. Thank God for those who have the courage to expose this nasty dirty secret. The enemy doesn't want people to know the real truth about masturbation and pornography. As long as they don't know he can keep them in enslaved by these vices. As someone once said "the definition of masturbation is the bait that satan uses to master you" I found that to be true. The more you do it the more you want to do it!! It's becomes an insatiable lust that is never satisfied. But once a person learns who he or she is IN CHRIST that person discovers a freedom and grace to overcome this stronghold.... Romans chapters 6 through 8 Galatians chapter 5; Colossians 3:1-9 and I Corinthians 10:13: 6:12-19 are some key passages that deals with who we are in Christ and through grace we can break free from the bondage of sin..... These truths are helping me. I read them pray them stand on them. I now understand that the spirit of perversion (manifests through uncontrollable masturbation lust homosexuality pornography sexting etc) has NO legal rights to me as a child of God. I have been making a conscious effort to not yield my body or members to sin in any way. I am no longer a slave to masturbation or any other sin because I am learning who I am in Christ. Grace is my license to come out of sin not continue sinning. I am learning and growing. I encourage you to keep pushing. It's gonna pay off. Don't give up. If you fall get back up. That's what I am doing. Praying for you. Do likewise for me. Again; you are not alone in the battle for sexual purity and holiness

But this video came to me because God knew what I was needing deliverance from!After fighting masturbation and loosing to it, this year and literally this morning. God used you all and The Perry’s to correct me. You and Jackie mentioned how we use things God has made to worship everything but Him, I’m just paraphrasing. That hit my spirit so hard. I had been looking as you were for specific scriptures to tell me why masturbation was a sin and why I needed to give it up, though in my spirit I felt it was wrong and convicted after doing it. You made it very clear for me to understand. My body which is the Lords shall be used to worship him, not myself nor my desires. I could really go on, I’ll add it in my journal. But I thank God for blessing you both to be a blessing to so many of us! I needed this word more than you know. God is so good! God bless you guys!

Thank you for addressing this taboo and very important topic. I recently had to start having these conversations with a teenage family member after realizing they had been exposed to inappropriate things and was acting on it. The conversation was very awkward and uncomfortable; but you’re right, we definitely need to be having these conversations as soon as possible.

This is a really great episode! The Awe of God by John Bevere is a great book that goes into more depth about the necessity of having Holy Fear of God and how that allows you to be in an intimate relationship with God (and grow to love what He loves and hate what He hates)❤

Really love this podcast! You two are hilarious for one, but it's so refreshing to see couples talk about topics like this because it's like you can find so much information on the worldly end of things but as a young Christian trying to live holy, sometimes I've notice how there haven't been a lot of resources to teach us how to overcome issues like masturbation, dealing with marine spirits, or demonic altars trying to hold us in bondage spiritually and physically. The conversation at around 32:00 proves that men are looking for love when they are promiscuous but at the same time denying themselves love because they cut the women off or keep them at a distance after sex. Seems like Love and sex aren’t so separate to men as we’ve all been led to believe because when a man is open to love from a woman or loves a woman, he associates her “no” to sex as not loving him.
Facts. And I’m the uncommon case that I want real life sex with my husband more than he does. But due to his addiction that started long before me he was used to to taking care of it himself and didn’t know what a healthy sex life looked like. I be surprised too when I get pregnant 🤣

One thing that helped deliver me from porn and masturbation was when I learned that some of these women are trafficked! So the realization that I was gaining pleasure off of someone else's pain was very impactful. I am delivered and I will never go back. I thank God for my life honestly. I never got into masturbation. But I was a porn addict since 13. I’m almost 20 and I think God I’m off it. The word of God was preached to me and the Holy Spirit took away my lust.

Love this conversation, I just want to add to the part of the conversation around 52:00 I remember porn legit become a de-stress mechanism that honestly began to help with sleep. Definitely during my school years I would be so stress between trying to pass classes & my own personal traumas & issues to the point where I experienced sleep deprivation, porn made it way back to me after a 3 year hiatus & was honestly being used for stress & sleep deprivation. Still having my issues here & there I have to at least thank god that I have been gradually getting a lot better just have to keep pushing to best of my ability & leaning on him to get to that ultimate breakthrough.
3 things I want to add that help me take steps away from it. 1. I love how some people are talking about sex in the beautiful & magnificent nature that it’s designed for. Whether I am to get married are not knowing gods actual intention for makes me want to embrace it in its true form. If god is to bless me in a marriage well that’s kinda easy as far as motivation goes lol, I want to be able to express that to my ONE wife the greatest I can. 2. Physical health, it can never outweigh our spiritual needs that will always come first but don’t count physical health out. For my fellas in particular I’m a regular runner & thats always help but I been learning & experiencing more about pelvic & core strength as it relates to this topic. If you strengthen particularly the pelvic area(sit-ups, planks, pelvic floor exercises, squats) you can at least cause a slower reaction to arousal which can least give you some time to think before you act. Plus, it’s a win, win because if the lord blesses you with a marriage your light switch will stand up better(if you know what I mean lol) & it will inheritly make you more attracted to physical touch rather than this fake virtual stuff & working out will tire you out. 3. Not gonna get to it much, but please be careful on social media. That’s place does have some good on it but if I were to ratio it out I would say 80% bad, 20% good, it’s just too overwhelming. I know some people post content but again pray for discernment & please be careful, that’s it.

That is good and so true sin is an open door for just evil cravings. Its like you cant get enough. Just from one thing to another from one sin to a bigger sin. Its like a your feeding a small monster then it just keeps wanting more and more until it evolves into this big humongous monster. The devil is so subtle and crafty
