Why is hitting a child okay, yet its classed as an assault if it were done to an adult? If a person has to result to hitting a child for punishment then that person shouldn't be anywhere near any children. However, I have seen examples of where certain adults should be punished in this way, and probably in public too. It may just make them think twice before doing the nasty things they enjoy doing.
His dad didn't want to beat him in front of the congregation but still did it in church. God would have seen him do it anyway.
