13:38 The reason why it's not going up is because of the grade that the track is at. ( which is a 7 precent grade) Most trains in real life with no cars on the locomotive wil start to have problems at a 4 precent grade, with loaded freight and/or passenger cars it would be a 3 precent grade that would have trouble to move a mile long freight train.
Actually if you look at it, the cobblestone stops the train there

The reason why the UPBB couldn't go on the zig zag is because it's a 4-8-8-4, and also a duplex, which means 2 sets of drive wheels combined together

Just a thought, you could try seeing how long you would survive getting hit by a train with netherite armor on, or focus more on the killing monsters capabilities, something like that.

I just lost few brain cells watching how bad setups become chaotic, I guess is part of learning the mechanics of the mod.
You should try to combine the non euclidiana mod with immersive railroading to do a model train layout, it would be amazing.

Wish I had those model trains but they’re both probably too big for my layout. (18 radius curves)
surprisingly the BLI N&W Y6b can actually navigate 18” radius curves!

i suspect what stopped your trains sometimes is blocks poking out beyond the rails. some of the trains stopped extremely abruptly where there appeared to be cobble sticking out above the tracks
