Damn those reporters ask STUPID questions ... Poor Firefighters Their tired people . Im the Proud Sister of A Brave Firefighter I don't think People understand how exasperating that job is
You are so right, especially that woman, she needs to go back to school to learn more because she kept on asking “what do you mean…. what do you mean…..” The Chief explained it clearly in English.
My thing is Oceanside wanted to rebuild the pier like 2 years ago on Oceanside's Facebook page they said that and the residents of Oceanside said, "No" because of the history behind it. I'm just saying its a good way for the city of Oceanside to get what they wanted all along saying the integrity of the bridge is not safe and needs to be rebuilt after this. Im glad he brought that up about the gift shop using the Ruby's kitchen to cook in because we all are thinking the same on that too...
They did do their rebuild project, it finished just a few months ago. All new utility infrastructure, including fire standpipes which helped a lot here
@@appleintosh I mean city of Oceanside wanted to tear the whole pier down and rebuild it again completely. Not just new pipes and stuff. Residents had an issue with that. I can understand why, the history would be gone if so. But the city can be on the hook as well for a lawsuit if someone got hurt too so I can understand from a liability aspect as well. Maybe if the city doesn't rebuild and the residents don't want it torn down, maybe it will just be a show and tell at this point and no one is allowed on the pier.
@@JacobWinkle Why would the city commit arson and burn down the pier because a bunch of people on Facebook don’t like their idea? Facebook comments don’t mean anything. If the city wanted to tear the pier down they were free to start the process through the proper channels, which is NOT a Facebook post
@@appleintosh You mean backlash and protesting from the residents over it. Ya, I don't think you understand how Oceanside residents who live right on the beach work here.
I am a concerned citizen with knowledge of these matters. These are the questions I have. Was there proper fire life safety equipment in the Resturant. Why did the fire sprinklers in the Resturant not go off. If the fire sprinklers were not charged, why was the brine box allowed to cook in the restaurant? What was the status of Inspections on the restaurant?
Ya gotta love the keyboard warrior's that question in accusatory manner, when/where/how the fire started. ~How and the direction to fight the fire. Across now, numerous sites. Take a moment peeps..... The EDUCATED firefighters need another moment~to first stop the flames and then examine the causation, which IS their jam to decipher! #Firefighters-Thanx for your service
People are too quick to jump to conclusions these days, and it seems like half the people always think it’s a conspiracy and can’t be convinced otherwise.
Did you get a video of the newly installed fire suppression system in the parking lot right next to the pier not being used? Calling it a controlled burn, lol
Shit they put it out earlier in the evening maid to much so smoke an then in the evening that night it sparked back up lol burn it dowm taxes will get t it
These poor guys, look absolutely exhausted. Our Firefighters are heroes. God bless them.

Like the Government never lies. Hides information from the masses. Right.....never question. Just OBEY.

CBS 8 San Diego, I really enjoyed watching this, so I hit the like button!
It’s just a way from them to build a new pier for the new stadium. Let me say that again, 911
