I like a natural plant to do it's thing. So Texas sage doesn't need any kind of pruning at all? It won't promote more growth and blooms? Thinking about doing this on our hellstrip!
So, I'm watching you on RUclips but you just said "shopping" ... So I live in North Texas (Dallas area) ... Where can I get good Texas native perennials, i.e. nurseries? Thanks
Definitely like to see more of these videos.
Trumpet vine are native! Not invasive. Yes they can dominate but you have to have the right spot for it.
Also coral honeysuckle would be a good native alternative for the black land eco region in Dallas.
Agree!
Thanks for the vid, what is the best place to get plants and seeds from?
Some great places for perennials are Rooted In Nursery, Shades of Green Nursery, Homegrown Plants, North Haven Gardens, and NIcholson Hardie.
Thanks for adding these if you made longer YT style videos indef think it would gain a lot of traction
Solid information

Thank you for sharing. Are bougainvillea a good plant for Texas?
Only when grown in pots and moved indoors to a garage or greenhouse over the winter. They will not survive our winters.
