FRUIT CAKE
Ingredients
180 gm Butter / बटर
180 gm Sugar / चीनी
2 tbsp Tutti fruiti / टूटी फ़्रूटी
1 tsp Vanilla essence / वनीला एसेंस
180 gm Flour / मैदा
4 Eggs / अंडा
¼ cup Almonds, chopped / बादाम
¼ cup walnuts chopped / अखरोट
¼ cup Tutti fruiti / टूटी फ़्रूटी
Process
In a mixing bowl, add butter, sugar, tutti fruiti and mix well till the butter change the colour.
Add vanilla essence, flour and mix well, add egg and mix well.
Add almonds, walnuts, tutti fruiti mix well by cut and fold method.
Grease the mould with butter and place butter papper.
Pour the batter into the mould and bake it at 165 to 170 for 40 minutes.
Dust icing sugar over the cake. Let cool a bit. Cut and serve.

I have very fond memories of queueing up at the Baker's with our own customized recipe ingredients .. rum soaked fruits nuts and raisins .. I remember the overnight job of cutting the nuts to smaller bits .. if they are not they are heavier and tend to settle at the bottom while .. the secret ingredient is the flavour of nutmeg and some other spices which gives them the indian twist.

Yes baked finally... Ranveer my son just loved the cake and this was soft as snow...I hv nvr baked a softer version of 🍰. N yes i made the eggless version(curd+ flaxseed powder) since i m a vegetarian.
shraddha gupta i too tried the same cake veg version but my was a little to crumbly can u tell what could be the reason ??
@@RACHITGUPTA93 may b u overmixed it enough to form gluten and thus it turned to b more of breadlike rather than cake
Tried it at home and it turned out perfect the first time... Hence tried it again and now its a hit at home. it's the easiest and tastiest cake recipe!

Butter is salted chef?
Meenakshi Gautam salted butter tastes good you can do with both
preferably unsalted but u can use salted if there is no option.
Salted butter gives better taste
