Tornado chart
EF0: Just a tiny tornado will be winds that could move around some leaves.
EF1: Mild tornado, still a bit dangerous. May be avoidable.
EF2: Stronger tornado, will cause a lot of damage, but still a little avoidable.
EF3: Will cause intense amounts of damage, stay in your basement for best chance of survival.
EF4: EXTREMELY strong winds, will damage power lines, kill animals and lots of people.
EF5: Most likely will kill you, try to evacuate the city IMMEDIATELY. Will cause mass amounts of property damage.

this is wildly inaccurate. “ef0 will only blow around some leaves” bro an ef0 can wreck your roof and absolutely nerf dozens of small trees
Yeah, this is a wildly inaccurate chart because no matter what the rating of the tornado is, lots of damage will be done.
An EF0 tornado will do a lot more than move a few leaves. EF0 tornadoes are commonly found to either snap trees in half or just topple them over, it doesn’t exactly have the strength to rip them out the ground and toss them around like toys. They will also mess around with the shingles on your roof.
EF1 tornadoes are a step up from the EF0s in the aspect that they can easily topple trees down, damage quite a few parts of your house, and do other types of damage.
EF2 tornadoes are where you start to move into really dangerous territory. EF2 tornadoes will take most, if not all of the shingles off of your roof and maybe a little bit of the roof itself will be damaged. Trees will be ripped out of the ground and cars could possibly be picked up and tossed about (not very far, but still picked up and tossed out of their original location).
EF3 tornadoes are extremely dangerous and will easily rip trees out of the ground, parts of your roof will be gone and a few walls of your house may be as well. Cars will be tossed in random areas and you might find random objects from other houses in your yard.
EF4 tornadoes will completely level or be close to levelling your house. Trees will be thrown several miles, power could be out for days, and damage will be extremely widespread. A great example of an EF4 tornado is the Tuscaloosa-Birmingham, Alabama tornado and it wiped out half of the city of Tuscaloosa.
EF5 tornadoes are extremely hard to survive without a shelter. If you don’t have a shelter, you will more than likely die. Ground scouring will occur, houses will be completely levelled, and more. Also, good news, we are actually in an EF5 drought because the last tornado that was rated EF5 was the Moore EF5 tornado 10 years ago on May 20th, 2013.
Just for future reference guys, all tornadoes are dangerous and you should NEVER try to outrun a tornado. Your best bet is to find your way to an interior bathroom, closet, or just go straight to your shelter (if you have one). Just wanted to correct this comment the best I could because this is a good reason some people die in tornadoes, misinformation.

8:13 There's a set of games that kind of have this premise. I know this was 3 years ago, and you probably don't plan on returning to this, but there's a few 'storm chaser' games themed around tracking tornadoes which spawn on a big map. None of them have a very large server size, though.
-Twister Town, which can spawn up to 3 (I think) tornadoes and has primitive radar systems. It was definitely dead the last time I checked though
-Tornado Simulator 2, which can only have one tornado happening at a time but regenerates parts of the map. The map itself is pretty small though, at least compared to the other two games.
-The Storm Chasers Reborn series, which is still alive and just released a new game. I don't know much of the specifics, but I do think Storm Chasers Reborn 7 (the new game) has more advanced radar and a very large map.
The latter two do force you to drive around before purchasing better cars, though. (Hmm, wonder where that came from)

This is so nostalgic I used to play the older version when I was young.
