Story time: So I have 2 boys living in a 6x2, And my friend was at my house yesterday, (she has 1 girl in a small green all living things cage) And we where just chilling and then she asked "so what size of cage do you think is good for guinea pigs?" Because she saw my cage, And I was just like "uhm- uh-" because I didn't want her to be mad at me for suggesting some- "eh- 7.5 sq ft is good." And now she's getting a Midwest and seeing if she can get her guinea pig a friend😀

i just ordered a 5x2 (with loft) c&c cage , my 2 piggies are gonna be so happy😆 theyre currently in the Oxbow playpin cage (theyre still fairly small, 6 months old) so the c&c will be their forever home

I find hay piles work best when you top them off twice a day. Just because the hay is soiled or inedible doesn’t mean it’s been “wasted.” Hay piles also serve as enrichment for Guinea pigs as they are able to graze freely and burrow in them which are natural behaviors. Just because the hay wasn’t eaten doesn’t mean it was wasted, it was still used as enrichment. I’ve also found that VERY few hay holders out there are actually acceptable or have large enough holes for grazing
Hi I know it is past 1 year but, would a 2 by 4 with a litter box lots of hides and food and water with one male guinea pig (he likes being alone i have tried other guinea pigs with him and he just doesn't like being with others even female's ). Also love your channel😊❤
Hi I’m looking to get 2 Guinea pigs but I’m struggling to find proper toys,hides,and cages do you have a recommended place to get stuff? We looked on Amazon but most toys were really expensive like 17-20 dollars for a pack of 2 toys
Chewy has great toys! Oxbow brand. And the Full Cheeks brand at Petsmart has some good toys too, I love their Timothy hoops and willow twists. Small pet select has some too but they’re a little pricier, closer to 7-$10
I dislike these videos as it seems so judgemental, looking at all your cages I feel as though your Guinea Pigs are living in cages that you can offer, a lot of you will upgrade your cages, I love all of your efforts to have toys, fleece and enough hay bags! I inspect animals here in the Uk and I would really love to see your cages they are like a palace compared to what I see on a daily basis!
These people sent me their cages with the knowledge that I would be giving feedback and sharing my personal opinion and consented to having their cages critiqued. I never share my thoughts from a place of judgement, only from constructive criticism. I always have a polite and encouraging tone and find things to compliment in the cages as well. I’ve had people tell me in the past I’ve been too nice, so I do make an effort to give genuine constructive criticism and tips whenever possible. It would be different if I found random cages on the internet and shamed people - but that’s not what’s happening here.

Maybe it's just the quality, but cage number 1 doesn't look that dirty at all. Maybe I'm missing something, but all I see is that there's hay everywhere? Hay doesn't stink, and there are pigs that pull their hay around the place so it's unavoidable. Once again, maybe I'm missing something, but I can't see what looks so bad?

also in cage 9 just be careful about the heart hay rack of the baby not getting stuck in it or the older pigs getting there heads stuck in it!

Cage six the toys are a either living word or rosewood veggies toys. I have those. I had them for my past piggies and new ones for my hamsters.
