Just saw a comment from PixelGH that I somehow missed mentioning taking it apart to see how it works and test the input delay. I don't have it right now (friend has it) but I could get it back and we could test it out to see it it matches the raphnet.

bro i got a problem with the emio, my strum bar works well but in game (highway) it doesnt function, basically its like all note are tap notes my guitar its 100% functional the frets work well and the strum bar, but i dont know why doesnt work in the song
Unfortunately I don't have a Mac to test it on, but because it recognizes it as a "controller for windows" I would assume no. Unless "controller for windows" is Windows' was of saying generic controller. The box itself just says "compatible with PC" also. Sorry :(

It's hard to find a good xplorer, I got mine from a friend for my birthday, it was put behind his TV and never played. I have found decent ones for cheap at Salvation Army, and Facebook marketplace/letgo is a good place to look. Definitely ask around though, if someone you know has one and never touches it, it could be one of the better xplorers out there.
As far as I know, Nintendo doesn't make this adapter. The controller in this video is third-party. I have a SNES mini and this adapter isn't inside, I only know of this one and the Raphnet.
I bought one of those Nintendo adapters like the one that came in the box, and I connected it to the guitar and to the computer. It will not let me map my buttons to clone hero, any ideas on how to fix that

has it been determined if the whammy bar can be calibrated like the one in Acai's video, or does it just not register whammy AT ALL even if it is calibrated? also is there a way to buy just the adapter or do you need to buy the controller as well?
I actually don't know if you can calibrate the whammy bar, and I have let my friend take my WiiTar with the adapter so I can't really test it, and the only way to get this adapter is with the controller. If you have a friend that needs just the controller you could give it to them or sell it or something.
@Astro I just got a wii guitar at goodwill today and while you are right about there being more delay then the wired it works just fine if you play casually. Of course most people trying to get a wii guitar these days are doing it be a use the adapter provides insanely low amounts of input delay so I guess it just depends on what you want.

Yeah, you will need a Wii guitar. You can find them at thrift shops, Facebook marketplace, ebay etc.

Works perfectly. Although I live in Canada and it took like a month for it to come in. This is the best way to do it though.

I think you have to calibrate the whammy sensitivity in the calibration settings to get it to work! That's what you have to do with the raphnet one

Can confirm it successfully works with a band hero wii guitar however keep in mind that there is no way to calibrate the whammy bar

If you have a Wii plug-in to USB, and you feel it's long enough, that should work just fine.

What was the problem? its not gonna recognize it right away , you have to assign it like in the video
