Guys please don't give reviews if your don't read Marvel content, all of it. She was trapped in the head that is where the show came from, like what wanda did in wandavision, she kept her in her mind as a prisoner. After 4 debacle TV Shows of Marvel they did a good one again.
You're being very presumptuous, I'm heavily familiar with everything Marvel puts out. But narratively, the sitcoms were pulled from Wanda's memories of watching them as a kid before the big traumatic event. There's no explanation of how Agnes went from sitcom to detective show nor is there a clear reason. And it is quickly abandoned in the first episode to a total switch in tone, and you'll see in episodes 3 and 4 it also juggles a lot of homages to other things. These aren't inherently bad but to me it feels inconsistent in tone which gives the show a lack of personality of its own. That's just my opinion, as a huge Marvel fan I try to give reviews unbiased.
I expected the worst but after watching the 1st two episodes i enjoyed it can see people who like AHS Coven giving this a go, You compare this to She Hulk and this is Oscar winning material even to the Marvels which just seemed to go from one scream to another. A lot will depend how it actually unfolds from the 4 episodes that journalists have seen, What I do love its not trying to take itself seriously and the 2nd episode really was scary (not going into spoilers) and thank god actual sets not just green screens,
Haven’t watched the show, but this is a great un-biased review. You just got yourself a new subscriber!
Ah I appreciate it so much thank you! Checking out the video essays on your channel too its awesome stuff!
