Like most people in the comments I dont have the currency for the jewels. Is it viable without the flame/flesh? I understand less damage, but damage seemed overkill. What would you switch those out for? Regular jewels or is there another flesh/flame or tree without those? Thanks it looks super fun just as a casual I dont have time or desire to farm up 80+ex
could the perseverance belt we swapped for a Headhunter for mapping? for big bosses then swapping back to perseverance obviously :) will give this build a go! 💪🏼
Having a good time with this one. All ubers down pretty easily. Maven is obviously annoying due to the regen cxl and Sirus required some cheap chaos res gear swaps, but its to be expected. Mapping feels good for a trapper. Thanks for another great build 👍
is it really 80 ex "entry" level ? when you know a build is based on implae you'd assume ryslatha is "for example" a cheap gg item. so can you elaborate ? also i would assume the warden's brand should work since the attack speed should not matter ?

Seeing you building this making me think building around blade trap with physical damage is possible. With that being said, would that be viable scaling my poison damage through Paradoxica, or should I use heist base daggers and make a elemental version? Thank you for making this video.
I tried playing an ele version of this, but couldn't get on with it at all, and I like traps. This looks better though with more throw speed and defenses. Wish I'd kept hold of the jewels a bit longer now though!
@@jungroan i'm playing that currently but even reaching 10M dps is really pricy. Apart from the jewels of course. A decent weapon alone is like 30ex. This build however has a similar defence+damage setup (persev + max spell surp) and like 5 times the damage. I will switch to this

Guides often just say "use paradoxica", but I always try to build with rare items no matter what... except if the unique just make too much sense, such as a perseverance on a champ. At this point of the league, I really don't care to have budget options. Just best options for scaling.
I have a question about the multipliers in your pob. My understanding is that fatal flourish obeys the trap active limit, ie, existing traps disappear when you throw traps beyond the active trap limit. In that case, the correct way to calculate max damage would be to set the number of traps to your limit (17?), apply a 30% more damage multiplier (averaging for the effect of fatal flourish), and removing the multiplier from swift assembly. Is that not the case?
please take the conqueror ascendancy node on this setup its literally 28% less damage for 2 ascendancy points, the traps inherit the taunt and while theyre active and doing damage you will take 20% less damage from the ascendancy node and a further 10% less from the inherent taunt debuff
@@jungroan If theres an icon in the top left hand corner of the screen the trap entity still exists, and yeah it works for all durational traps although blade trap isnt one, im surprised seismic champion has never really taken off but it is a bit more awkward because the trap has to actively be doing damage to get the less damage, blade trap however works much more favourably with it.
@@splaff5305 might be worth? no way i'd drop inspirational or fortitude, so tradeoff would be master of metal at about a 30% loss in dps? might be worth
@@jungroan you could drop the whole fortitude branch and get worthy foe, its 28% less damage from targets youre hitting with traps, which is more than fortify but a bit more conditional, and get the hits cant be evaded + 20% increased damage taken

It looks like it takes about 3 seconds to kill minotaur (6 seconds total, but it heals), which is around 10m DPS since Minotaur has 32m HP. So 50m DPS seems a bit overstated.
Maybe you could but what the point? It will be awful to clear at the start, just do some Melee on Champ or do Seismic on Sabo. Don't try to create a wheel

Advancing your position by throwing a trap in a room instead of running in and casting...only slightly slower than casting. can place a bunch during boss phases or anything you're about to activate..
Fatal Flourish is most likely going to not work with traps/mines in 3.19. Just like multistrike and spell echo. Hopefully. Because if not, GGG are just insane: Leaving something OP like this in the game, but nerfing something very underwhelming like Explosive Concoction off-hand weapon trick and 2nd skill gem Stormbind rune empowering trick. Fuckin' GGG
That's most likely because this is the 2nd video (that I've seen at least) showcasing the strength of the jewel. The price is most definitely getting fixed because of this.

50m dps, 35ex, oh right, dont forget that there is 2 jewels that u need and they are like 45ex+ for both, otherwise it doesnt work, so, 35ex, but 80+ actually :P

seismic is better but it's okay as poison blade trap
