Wow - what a beauty! I've never seen such an extensive and really beautiful collection of native plants so artfully and thoughtfully arranged. I'm in zone 10 so most of these would not work for me but I'll do a bit of research on my favorites maybe they have a Florida cousin. Ten stars and a blue ribbon go to Mary Briggs for this stunning display - a fairy tale garden. Those silvery plants that wind through the garden just make the garden sing. I'm not much on grasses either but this is master-class gardening design and is one of the most well designed native gardens I've ever had the pleasure to see. Thanks for the tour - saving it to watch again, I'm stealing some of these garden design ideas.
I could see some nice shaped logs in that garden, they are great insect houses. I moved a bit of my broken gate yesterday and there was a huge spider on the wall behind it. the newest young blackbird came swooping in to get the spider, thank goodness, because it was tools down for me otherwise. The BB follows me around, love them. Lovely garden.
