I have mostly natives around the perimeter of my yard, purposely because I love the way they look and knew maintenance would be minimal after the first few years. My hedgerows includes pacific wax myrtle, oregon grape, evergreen huckleberry, Alaska cedars, Red and green twig dogwoods, vine maples, Douglas firs, ceonothus, currant bushes (more like trees now), twinberry, underplanted with salal. Great privacy and easy care. More people should get enthusiastic about natives.
What an amazing abundance of biodiversity! Love it!
Just a spectacular love for gardening can be seen in every turn of this beautiful space❤❤❤
I really loved this tour. Beautiful garden and inspiration for my own PNW garden. Thank you!
Little Bluestem with Phlox at 19:33, wow, just wow.
Yes! Bianca sure has an eye for amazing plant combos!
Welcome baby Ava she is beautiful. And congratulations on your subscriber count!!! Yay!!! 🤩🤩🤩 Liz from California
I love your garden tours so much!!! Wish the camera would pan, and video transition, more slowly though. There's so much to look at and I just start to focus on something interesting and - woops - moved on. Lol 😂
I love this video! So beautiful and so many ideas! Thank you for such a great tour and interview.
Beautiful baby! Love the videos, too.
My heart is full!! You have inspired me!!💕
Congratulations on all the wonderful gifts this year!
Congratulations on your anniversary and on the arrival of beautiful Ava! I've enjoyed watching your tours so much-- being in the PNW I often find it challenging to find content focused on PNW gardens and gardening, so I love gathering inspiration from the gardens you share!
Just found your channel! Love it! Subbed! 😁
I love how relatable you are. Relaxed, knowledgeable in your own right, and so good at encouraging and affirming everyone's little specialties and doing your research. You're delightful.
Congratulations on Ava, she's adorable! Thanks for taking us into so many beautiful gardens.
Absolutely breathtaking!! Nearly brought me to tears.
Why can’t I find gardeners like this! I need a plant swap friend near me
Congrats on your baby!
Cool video. I like seeing how you took bits of youtR garden tours. I think it illustrated stuff in a v effective way.
Beautiful baby 🎉 Love these gardens and their privacy with trees and plants! I look right into my neighbors yard and it is Awful 😢. Can't afford a large fence. Am trying to grow trees in pots along fence line to hide neighbor but its not working. I'm in a Manufactured home. Love your videos.
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoy them 😊 I hope you are able to find the solution to creating more privacy! The most difficult part about that is the time it takes for things to grow! Hope you can find something that works - perhaps a trellis with a robust vine like in Pam’s personal garden?
Thank you!!! I bought a few large panels of Lattice and a few pots of potato vines. So I pray the plants do well and I have a much prettier view very soon.😊🌿🙌
@debraisola9037 👏👏👏
Congratulations 🩷 and thank you for your work on your channel 💚
Ahh, she’s beautiful! I know you’re proud! Thanks for the ideas too!
Great video thanks, have subscribed, I like the way you don’t take over when the gardener is talking
Thank you! I know that whatever the gardener has to say is going to be way more informed and interesting 😄
What a beautiful sweet girl! Congratulations.
🥰
Ava ... what a pretty name for a pretty little girl. Congratulations!! You've brought us to so many wonderful gardens ... thank you! Here's to many more!
Thank you for being a fan and coming with us 🥰
Congratulations on both your channel and your new little one. I really enjoy watching your tours. 💚💚💚
Thank you! I’m so happy to have you along for the journey 😚
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌿🌳💚
I've been a fan of Darcy's garden and her design for years! I've seen other tours of her garden (video and print), but this one is maybe my favorite!
Thanks, April. I agree Donna did a fantastic job telling the story. I couldn’t be happier with how this came out.
Love the aerial 😍
Fabulous gardens! Can someone spell the name of that "Staria" tree?
I’d love to clarify for you but I’m not sure which one you mean. Can you tell me what time it shows up in the video?
Thanks for getting back to me. It's around 10:00. 4 season tree that blooms, cool looking bark, fall color. @@overthefencetours
@beckyvanschouwen of course! It’s Stewartia psuedocamellia, or Korean Stewartia. Amazing tree :)
Love, love love your place! I will be following you on your email site.
Wish I could like it again (twice) 👍 Just stunning.
Beautiful garden tour. I am jealous of what can be grown in Oregon compared to what we can grow here in Colorado's very dry climate.
Congratullations from Seville. I could spend the whole day looking at each of your plants and combinations
You Tube: 🥺 PLEASE consider providing software DESIGNED TO RECORD MUSIC? Many content creators use the wrong software, and just may not know the difference: Because it is NOT designed to record music (unlike one section of the second musical intro), it causes well-meaning creators to add "music" to their videos that are sour in sound, better left off entirely. Wrong software yields music that is distorted, off-key, "under water sounding", and sour. The software used to record the little musical set which intro'd a section at the "2nd beginning", WAS recorded by the right software, software designed to record music. And sounded lovely, therefore.
10:45 there is a blue hosta w yellow streak...any recollection as to its name?
Beautiful! Love the channel!
That is one of the most interesting small garden/jungles I have ever seen. I absolutely love it. Thank you so mush for the 29:30 tour. -- Mount Shasta, CA.
wish she could have stopped slapping her thighs, that is all that I could hear.
Love your tours!
🤯 Mind blown. This has drastically altered my entire garden world view. Now I have to go re-evaluate all my past, present and future garden choices 😂💕
Garden is stunning
Wonderful! she is fabulous!
Just fabulous and so interesting!!!
I like the fence and gate the most. The garden is nice, but clearly your neighbors don't share your vision since they actually have grass. These types of gardens just don't belong is such close proximity to other houses.
Very nice garden.
That is a stunning garden and Darcy is great, thanks from Australia
Love!!!
Does Darcy have an Instagram account?😊
Hi, yes she does! Egardengo_app :)
The abundance and variety of plants is amazing. I've never seen a yellow Oakleaf Hydrangea, stunning.
Darcy, come to my house? I want to be this creative. Thank you for sharing. Blessings.
