Great video! We have had our 09 ML550 in our family for years and its probably the most reliable car we ever owned. I always love driving it, as you said, that v8 gives you a feeling that a lot of newer cars simply do not offer.
Awesome video, that ML is SICK! I would love to see you review an ML63 AMG from the same generation. I think you'd have a BLAST. So much is changed compared to this ML550. 503 hp vs 382 hp. Brakes, air suspension, engine, exhaust, seats, interior materials, etc etc etc. I noticed this ML doesn't even have Parktronic, Keyless Go, auto dimming mirrors, drive modes, power folding mirrors, rear climate controls, etc. ML63 has all this and more!
Thank you! I bet the ML63 would be even more fun, although I don't think I would notice such a big difference between the two as the ML350 and the ML550. This one does have parktronic I think.
This ML550 is actually specced a lot closer to a ML350 than a ML63. It's essentially a base ML350 with the 5.5L V8. And it doesn't have Parktronic. It's missing the sensors on the exterior and the button inside. If it had it, it would be on the row of switches where the heated seats and emergency flashers are. @@DMCarReviews
@@ModernDayMixtapesI see! Well, it's hard to impress with features after today's cars😂 The features from 2009 are still not even close to what we have in cars now. As far as performance, I think the ML63 will be a couple of tenths faster, but it is a heavier car, so the power/weight does balance out.
@@ModernDayMixtapesI think the ML63 will be about half a second quicker, but for $86,000 vs $55,000 difference in their original costs, the ML550 makes way more sense. That half second is not worth 30 grand💀

That is very true!
Sounds great!
Yes💪

It's already sold
Thang moves and thats a great value too if you find them with low miles

Ηello. HOW MUCH IS THE FUEL CONSUMPTION ON THE ROAD AT 120 KM/H?
Hi! I'd say 10?
Thank you for mentioning that you're 6'2 because tall people want to know if they can fit.
Of course!
5.3 seconds for a 2009 SUV sounds deceptive lol. AWD or not, that’s impressive for an older model
Absolutely! The new GLE53 won't do anything to it, performance wise
@@PabloEscobar44907He uses a 1ft rollout of 0.3s = 5.1s vs 5.3s here. Also note here I wasn't brake boosting, while he launched the GLE53.
@@PabloEscobar44907You personally timed one by RaceBox or Dragy?
