Great video! Another benefit to leaving your vertical adjustment in the mounting plates available is you can lower the bumper 1/2" to remove the headlight if needed. When the other videos leave it at the bottom, then put it up with minimum gaps, you have to remove the whole bumper to remove the headlights. Nice job, I look to order one in the next year for my 2006.

I really enjoyed this video. I've been looking at these bumpers. When you showed the bracket that was slotted my very first thought was I hope he mounts the bolts and hardware in the middle. So I guess great minds think alike. And you are right I don't remember in any other videos seeing anybody address that. I have seen guys that said they could not adjust the bumper so that makes me believe they either mounted the plate all the way down or all the way up.
I had just gone to move website say now offer a bolt up option which is higher price than the welded one. I actually thought that was pretty kool so that way people who don't know how the world or even have a welder can enjoy the low cost of this bumper. Since right now it's 4:00 in the morning I think later today I'm going to go ahead and order one. Since winter is coming this will give me something to do.
Did you paint your bumper yourself? If so did you use rattle cans or an air gun? I know I'm thinking of one of two ways of finishing it. Since I have a powder coating business not too far from my house I might go that route. I'm also thinking about using the bed liner system at Amazon sells is that everyone has been using on different things. I sort of like that texture.
I most definitely give you a big old thumbs up and since you look like you know what you are talking about I also hit the subscribe button.
Look forward to watching more of your videos.

It's called a ( Wire Rope ) .... Yeah sounds dumb to me too but that's what it's called. Warn winches that we offered were 15K and 18K and didn't come with the wire rope (CABLE). Dude I'm a welding master in my field. A Trailer engineer for a multi million dollar a year company. I have designed more trailers than most companies make. My best was the our first dual deck 7 car hauler. I sourced all the parts to include but not limited to 13 Aluminum hydraulic cylinders. A sheet metal fabracter that cost us 3500.00$ for the dies he needed for the floors I wanted. I designed with a company I can't name. (Why? I don't understand). But I ended up with 22.5K and 25K dual tandem Disk brake axles. All the best air ride controls and bags. 22 onboard led lights on dual switches. Top and bottom. For night time working. I passed N.I.T.S.A. Cert with a " You Over Built This Thing" I can go on and on and on. The bottom line is I don't need a welding lesson. But I humbly stand aside and apologize. This welding lesson was for young people that can't tell you what J.I.C. means. I would be surprised if they knew N.P.T. Anyway I apologize for breaking up your sunday school video.

I can tell you it's the same quality if not better than the factory built ones you pay 2K for! It's solid man. But someone with a rude mouth like you probably has the money to pay big bucks and couldn't weld for his life! LOL. Thanks for watching and making me some money!!!
