The second hole at Perranporth must be one of the running game's finest. No bunker needed to test the best, an acute dogleg played blind with ball above the feet, a green complex to tax the most creative imagination, topped-off with a superb beach view. The Wilbur bomber showed his inland skills with the wedge while most would bump-and-run that approach. The finest golf.
Nice new intro music. The editing and sound of this vlog is sublime 👍🏼 Well done 👏🏼 A few year’s ago I played this course on one of my UK 🇬🇧 holidays. The head pro/pro shop owner was really nice. I loved playing this course although when I played it there was a really strong and gusty wind 💨 blowing. As I played on my own and there was nobody in front of me I lost my way on the last few holes. Seeing this fantastic course vlog I really want to go back again and I will as soon as we are able to travel again.
Absolutely cracking course. Great choice Dan. Had the pleasure of playing it 3 times. Probably the closest to playing golf on the moon and also the largest number of blind tee shots anywhere in the world. Love it 😍
Great Vlog, great memories as I used to play there when I lived in Cornwall! Glad Lester is back and Chris is a great addition with a wicked sense of humor it seems!
James and now Chris plus great courses add up to vlogs that continue to amaze. Chris fits in so well and his 'I believe that's at the gates of Narnia' had me 🤣. See you tomorrow.
Thanks boys this will bring back some memories. Stayed at the golf course a couple of times around 25+ years ago. They used to have about 5 or 6 caravans in the middle of the course! We stayed there and played loads of golf. Will comment with a few stories over the next couple of days. Stunning golf course in a more stunning location.
Thanks for showing Perranporth on a nice day, it has its own micro-climate and can be really tough some days. As a member of the club I have to say I was glad you didn't get to 59 and make it look too easy. I think Wilbur drove 3 or 4 of the par 4s but he does hit it miles. Also quite happy three of you found the 6th tough, it has to be the hardest stroke 18 in the UK. I was there on the day you filmed and was really pleased with the result, you showed what a great course Perranporth is. Well dane!
Another fabulous course with breathtaking views. I used to have an ultrasonic golf club cleaning business and attended a lot of Pro-Am events. I’m sure I cleaned Chris Gill’s clubs at Newport in South Wales and he went on to have a hole in one on the second. Looking forward to the rest of the vlog
Well played boys and a great format for the course and conditions - really loving this - looking brilliant and I can't wait to be there in about 7 weeks - this week is going to be great!
Bombing lester is back. Great vlog guys and beautiful course .are the mince hats for sale .love dan showing the dips and turns on the greens. Is it ever get warm there .
Another spectacular looking course boys! Every time you play courses with lots of blind shots, I think about all the people who played them for decades before GPS and think how did they know where to go?!! Markers only help if you know which marker. Even now if you played there for the first time with only first timers in your group, you’d be hitting it the wrong way all the time! 59 might have been a little aggressive! 😃
My missus dad grew up in a hotel that backed onto the course and is always telling me story's of how he would sneak on . He says it was so hard and has told me about the ball rolling back to you I will show him this next time I see him 👍 quality as usual fellas
Evening guys yet another cracking course I was certainly born and lived in the wrong part of the country lol again some cracking golf and nice to hear a bit of history to boot keep them coming boys
Another great start to another great series. Well done guys, thanks for excellent quality and content. Good to see Bernie's driver is firing. Always interested to watch on as you search for 59.
I have played Perranporth many times. Very easy to find the quick way to the beach from the edge of the green on windy days. Tough course in the wind for sure. Great vlog yet again. Love the banter.
To be fair, I'd rather watch you boys in a course vlog than watch some PGA Tour events! LOL Simply love the courses you choose to highlight on the channel! Cheers!
Agreed. Being an American from California, it’s especially fun to see how different the courses are in places I’ve never been. Way more fun to watch “normal” good players get around a course with funny banter than watching the pros that I can’t relate to at all. The pros are impressive, but not as much fun.
Just lovely golf courses. I must say that the south east of England seems like a great place for a golfing holiday. Love the scramble vlogs but I must say that looking for 59 and this course seems though.
What a top bloke Chris is... should also be on the comedy tour. Got to have hin back on again Dan. Loving this vlog great team effort all round I'd say
Played this course last summer while on holiday in Cornwall, stunning, loved it, didn’t have a clue where I was supposed to be hitting it but managed two birdies and was more than happy with that. Looking forward to watching how you guys play it
Great vlog as ever! Played Perranporth a few years back, toughest course I have played! So many blind shots esp for an 18 handicap golfer. Didn't help that one of the signs was turned the wrong way as well 😂
First time I played this course, I hit my drive off the first & straight into Jimmy Bullard (softly) while he was hiding out in Cornwall fishing & playing golf while he was injured...couldn’t hit a green all day but could a premiership footballer :)
I don't think it's an actual grip change as much as it's just bowing the wrist which will make the face closed at the top. When you do that it makes you turn fully or you'll send it a million miles left.
I wasn't aware southern england had so many links courses. They seem to have wider fairways and bigger greens for starters. And they probably cost less in green fees with less crowding. For the average golfer that is a good thing. I still think tralee is one of the best courses in the world. I remember when you played it with the muppets. Ballybunion was pretty good as well, but you only played 12 holes.
Another great half hour spent on my sofa.
This channel and No Laying Up are my two favourite Golf channels.

I painted that building behind you on the first 😎
Looks good 👌

I can’t say it enough: links, links, links! Love it. Thanks for this, Dan. Can’t get enough links golf. Beautiful.

Stunning apartments on the first tee!
Wonderful golf course, spectacularly captured by you guys..... Possibly your best course blog yet Dan. 👏👏 Great Work.

Stunning course, good golf, what more do you need. Oh, good company which you have in spades Dan.

What a great course, another place I need to go this year
What a course, stunning views. Enjoyed that!
Easily the best golf channel . Top guests, another one in Chris. Lovely course plenty of banter and info.👍

Does not feel like it at the moment, the country is about a month behind on weather, still got a cold 🥶 wind 🌬
Great vlog lads, played Perranporth years ago, it’s like a trip down memory Lane 👍
You don’t have to be a golfer to enjoy that.!! Stunning views . Great vid guys xx

Spectacular scenery, lovely course . Great stuff boys
Awesome!!!
Great golf boys some great views you guys get
What a great looking course. Golf not shabby either.
I have played Perranporth many times. Very easy to find the quick way to the beach from the edge of the green on windy days. Tough course in the wind for sure. Great vlog yet again. Love the banter.
That 2nd hole is a brute, great banter lads 😂
Had to pause the video at 9.50. The banter is already perfect on hole 1.
Nice to see the main man on board, no bus tour , no birdies!! Looks like being a good week at 6pm !!!
This is going to be a lively match I’m thinking!
Playing some lovely courses boys
What a lovely course - walked alongside St Enodoc GC today, what views that’s got across to Padstow
So good to see you boys at a course I've had the pleasure of playing. That new tee on 3 looks awesome

Just lovely golf courses. I must say that the south east of England seems like a great place for a golfing holiday. Love the scramble vlogs but I must say that looking for 59 and this course seems though.

“Toe Snorter” - So much to learn about this game.
😂
Best golf channel on RUclips.
Thank you 🙏
Great vlog as ever! Played Perranporth a few years back, toughest course I have played! So many blind shots esp for an 18 handicap golfer. Didn't help that one of the signs was turned the wrong way as well 😂
Was that sign the 7th by any chance?

Nice intro.
Has Bernie been in the Gym? Three big hitters on this week..............and Dan! Sorry. Loving the stories.
Love the videos! keep it up
great video guys... nice edit and brilliant content!
Keep going you have 5 more parts to watch 👍
@@DanHendriksenGolf I will :)
Quality👍
Did Lester actually throw grass up in the air and look at the wind direction or are my eyes playing up 👍🏴
😂
Nice Video 😃👍
Dan I’d love to hear Wilbur talk about his grip change at the start of the backswing, looks like he makes it stronger almost like a trigger?
I don't think it's an actual grip change as much as it's just bowing the wrist which will make the face closed at the top. When you do that it makes you turn fully or you'll send it a million miles left.

Tralee was an absolute belter, Ballybunion was good but very tough 👍
@@DanHendriksenGolf Perranporth offers great scenery and a decent challenge, albeit without the name recognition of a big track.
Welcome back Mince
