yeah tomodachi life can be surprisingly depressing when it comes to relationships. when i’ve had miis say they were having problems with their partners and they weren’t sure if they wanted to be together anymore, if i told them to try to make it work it would cut to the two miis standing in a room, a clear gap between them. they would be staring at each other in silence with a clock ticking in the background; no music, just time passing. after a moment they would either agree to give it another try or just give up without saying a word to each other. for such a silly game it can get a little too real sometimes
even worse: she was on the beach because she was waiting for her ex. the fucking nerve to send your new partner instead of talking face to face is insane.
I mean is it though? I never played it again ever since.

I remember once that one of my miis wanted to confess to another and then some other guy came in and was like I want you more and so the original mii that wanted to confess got rejected and got depressed

At least they didn't get together while this Mii & Skittle were together. The Japanese version has a feature that returned from Tomodachi Collection were a Mii can ask a married Mii out & the married Mii can accept. That being said I have also seen a Mii ask out a Mii that was dating someone with the Mii that was not single accepting leading to the original relationship the Mii was in to be over. Yeah I saw it in Vinny from Vinesauce's live stream archives, his LP helped me get interested in the game.
iirc, this has like a 1/100000 chance of happening *if* the mii is at a low friendship rating with their ex, but its a 1/1500 if its higher. Theres an even rarer event that involves two Miis breaking up without them being sad, if both ratings for each over are low, and they are in an area together besides the apartments/mii homes, theres a 1/3000 chance a cutscene will play that makes them go back to being friends, no footage exists of this event online except for screenshots.

No.when a married miis have kids,from the first day to them moving into an apartments or is sent to travel,they can't divorce since when they do have the child,the game will be programed to keep the couple together since I'm guessing that it'll be a little too dark for the game
