hello Camille, I met you on Instagram and I loved your way of teaching, you are slow to speak, and that was what I was looking for. You are so sweet and I love every class I see. one more subscriber for life♥️
Thanks for the tips, Camille! The first one is what I do already (listening to english youtube/ticktok videos and using subtitles when needed/available). But the second one was a "blow my mind" to me! The shadowing techinique you described sounds great!
So tell me one thing mam, I'm from India, and i want to be an english teacher. So who should i imitate,an american speaker or British speaker. Because it's going to become my way of speaking , if i imitate
Accent and pronunciation is different. I understand your English but I don't understand non English native speaker's English because of their strong accent. People aren't bad at good accent. They just don't practice. You don't need to have perfect accent, but you need it at some point. If you really want to communicate with native English speakers, you need to care him/her. Good pronunciation is easy to understand for them. People who really like communication like practice, because they want to reduce other's burden. You don't need perfect pronunciation, but you shouldn't be a self-centered person.
Great advice!! That is totally true! If we don’t worry about our accent then we will speak more confident and better..

You have to choose what accent you like and stick with that one. 💪🏻
