*TRUE STORY ::* There was a fashion show at my local mall once that started playing this music as the models were walking on the runway. Poor suckers must not have realized that the song was originally from Mortal Kombat, but I recognized it right away and LOL’d so hard that I probably would’ve been kicked out if I’d been at the show itself (I and a few other people were watching from the food court upstairs until security told us to move, since it was supposed to be a paid event and none of us had actually paid to see the show).
This scene made the movie for me and my friend. We were there on opening day but only we slightly disappointed by the trailers only showing Reptile (my favorite character) as a CGI lizard creature. We both looked at each other in amazement when he changed into the green ninja and proceeded to have the best fight in the movie with Liu Kang.
Keep in mind that this film was released on the same year as Toy Story (I.E. the first CG animated film ever made). Before that CG animation was still a very new thing.
My dad took me into the cinema to see this when I was 10, the ticket guy didn;t give a F! lol. Hyped to bits for it, even got my dad to buy me a metal MK Kini for my POGs from a shop next to the cinema. Good times man!

it works before the match said fight so you would let go at fight and instantly bicycle kick on match start
