This was a song from the 90's that gave you a feeling of hope for the next decade and beyond...man how things have changed. The feeling that this song conjured is absent in the world right now as thing digress into bloody strife and global conflict...how do we return to this...

One thing that would bring a ton of peace would be for the US to stop playing the international police role, and to let foreign countries sort out their own messes.

This is true, and although I do agree with you, I think we need to look a little harder...any people can become an empire and any empire can become an overbearing police of the world. The problem is empire itself...why the walls, why the weapons, why the fear...

This brings back so many memories. 1995. Seeing MK in theaters. Got the soundtrack cd. Poster. And a Scorpion action figure part of promo deal. Hearing this in theaters totally floored me. Brought a sense of calm. Ease. That despite everything...all things have a funny way of working itself out. Going home. Placing this in my radio. Having this track on repeat at bed time. It would just lull me off to sleep. I even used this as therapy for certain maladies that happened throughout my existence...
Fast forward to 2021: Despite everything that has transpired. This track STILL gives me hope of a brighter future. If anyone reads this I truly hope you are doing well. Peace and love to everyone.

I remember watching this movie as a kid and then grew up and forgot about it until I watched Mean Girls at the theatres. When they began playing this song, I immediately recognized it and it just brought me out of the moment to when I was a kid again. Sudden unexpected flashbacks. Has this ever happened to you? And then you can't explain to those around you.

Such an ecletic, but AMAZING, compilation of music across an even more amazing spectrum of artists ranging from industrial, trance, techno, and so much more... a testament of just how great the 90's were, and how good we really did have it.

Oh the wonderful times me and all my cousins had when either he'd bring his Nintendo wii and we'd all be labbing matches against each other in Mortal Kombat Armageddon, he'd play as sub-zero and I'd pick Liu Kang, lol he'd always kick me into the Armory death trap. The memories though. These are the times I'll always keep in my mind, hopefully if I ever decide to have a kid one day I can get him/her into Mortal Kombat just to keep the legacy going.

Much music is appreciated from true roots and just pure originality. The tone and what is communicated through the melody and all electronic effects here is beautiful. There are some bands today though that are amazing, and they share + have their main influencers from bands and music artists that came from the 90s. Doesn't mean music today is NOT awesome...just that you have to look hardly and more particularly for it. Nothing like the 90s though, that is true.
