I'm not going to comment on most of what's in this video as it's old news and I'm not entirely sure why content is still being made on it tbh. I will say though that I'm in Illuvium voice channels playing Gauntlet everyday and I see no toxic behaviour. Everyone is welcome to join us and play 🙂
I feel both parties have been a little biased toward their own opinions, primarily protecting their brand (or clan). As Viper pointed out, it's crucial to base arguments on facts if you want to add value to the conversation. However, in this video, it seems like you are biased toward your own opinions, trying to justify why you were right and why Hype was wrong. You mentioned that you want what’s best for Illuvium, so my question is: how does this approach help Illuvium? Wouldn't it be better to take a step back, meet halfway, and find common ground instead of focusing on the negatives? If reaching an agreement isn’t possible, it’s often better to focus on what you can improve rather than on what others are doing wrong, in your opinion. Personally, I believe much of the criticism was valid, but how it's presented is crucial. What I think really sparked the conversation, and what I didn’t find professional, was the accusation that Hype used scouting as insider information. Referring back to what Viper said about the importance of real arguments, what is this accusation based on? I learned about scouting during my first day in the tournament when someone scouted me in the last round, gained better positioning, and I lost the fight. Afterward, we discussed the game because I wanted to understand why I lost, and scouting came up. That’s how I learned about it. Instead of complaining about losing due to an unseen advantage, I took that knowledge and applied it the next time. As a former TFT player, scouting is a key part of the game for me, so I never considered it cheating. That said, I can agree it falls into a grey area, but if it’s not explicitly against the rules, it’s not an offense. I also believe it should be clarified in the rules, and I was advocating for that to be included in the next week’s rules, which was eventually done, along with other improvements. In my opinion, if you want to make videos like this and genuinely care about what’s best for Illuvium, you should include a spokesperson from the opposing side. This would help solve problems instead of creating more. Having a clanmate or friend as your only voice increases the risk of it becoming an echo chamber. I'm not saying Viper is that, because I respect and agree with many of his opinions, but you probably understand what I mean. For example, when discussing rerolling stats, I can see why they might feel you’re arguing for your own interests-since in the end, you'd benefit more financially from your world’s first than you'd lose from the Illuvials you bought. In this video, you're only presenting your side and then asking Viper, your friend and clanmate, what he thinks to prove you're not biased. I don’t think that convinces any skeptics; rather, it reinforces your own opinions. I think you're doing a lot of good for Illuvium, and I believe you genuinely care about the game. That's why I think it’s important to focus on that again, rather than venting about what others are doing wrong, especially if it’s not presented constructively. If it's purely for content, as Viper briefly mentioned, that’s understandable-but in that case, it’s not good to portray your opinions as being solely what’s best for the game. I still think people can learn from this, take some of the criticism on board, and improve things for Illuvium in the future-at least that’s what I hope
ruclips.net/video/2rKXCVGqL98/видео.html whats your opinion about this video? the dude was in 40th place in the leader rank and now is on the 1460 th place. he is mad because he puted so much work.
From what I can tell from a quick look he wasn't informed about milestones not counting in season 2. This has been communicated a lot in the illuvium discord and on my channel, a few days after the season started. It sucks that people were still able to miss that information. This issue of too little information when it is needed the most has been voiced a lot in the discord and we see it improving already. Also for the icc this is one of our main priorities.
