    Thank you for the recipe. It looks very yummy. Question, can I substitute the coconut milk with water? Also can I omit the salt?

      Hi! Yes, you can however it will alter the taste and texture a bit and will not be as creamy.

    Not really a dessert. I would say it’s comparable to corn bread. You can eat puto on its own or pair with a savory dish like dinuguan or eat with coffee or tea.
