No, HOSKINS walked 30 feet away when he had his teammates around him before yelling. McNeil was yelling at him while he was still on the ground from his slide.

Rhys slid Feet first and managed to not hit the bag AT ALL with either of his Legs. Pros don't "accidentally" miss the Bag with their Feet when they slide Feet first lmao
I remember when turning 2 used to be fun on both ends. As the runner, you'd slide into 2nd base to break up the play, and then part of the challenge when turning the double play as a second baseman or shortstop involved throwing it while also getting out of the way of the runner trying to take you out. I say bring it back, and bring back home plate collisions while you're at it. Just like fights in hockey make it more exciting, so did breaking up double plays and home plate collisions
The game has gotten soft, just like every other major sport. Some players are simply incapable of playing hard, and likewise, the game being played hard against them.
I mean, I want him to try to touch the base instead of the player. His entire body was past 2nd by the time he touched the bag, its a dirty play that they should take out of baseball, we've seen enough fielders get hurt on these kind of slides.
@@brianmack2945I totally agree with you. Now that MLB took out of body slide into the home base, it’s about time to change the rule of sliding into 2nd and 3rd. There should be no room for such a play anymore in MLB. These guys are the cream of the crop of baseball players who are making millions of dollars. Impress us, fans, with their baseball skills, not a dirty slide like that.
