  • Short time but a lot of miles, I think this is a great car for the money.

    Thanks for the video! I loved my MK6 GLI that I sold three years ago. Very happy with my truck, but now I need a car I can put some miles on in addition. This helped convince me lol. I was on the fence with the 1.4T because I’ve heard nothing about it; nothing negative or positive. Appreciate the upload!

    I paid msrp for mine with the tech package exactly as yours. Great car for the price especially in a manual. 45+ mpg on the highwayt? Sign me up. no rebates on mine except the lifetime warranty the dealership offered and the extended bumper to bumper I paid for was a great deal especially after reading the fine print on the electronics covered and physical stuff like alternators. Great car that will last me a lifetime. Excited since putting 500 miles into it.
    Oh to edit the warranty for also for life and easily transferable.

    Well- I’ve had 2 other VW’s… a Golf back in the late 80’s early 90’s and a Jetta in the late 90’s and now a 2019 Jetta S. I traded a Dodge Charger 6 cyl for the Jetta - and honestly I absolutely love the Jetta. Yeah it’s maybe not as aggressive looking as the Charger - I feel it is more agile and more fun ti drive then the Charger was. The gas mileage is amazing - can’t get any better without being a hybrid. It has plenty of room and more power than I will ever need. I’ve never had major issues with prior VW’s . It’s an awesome car!! For the price point it was a no brainer. The only regret is I wish it was manual but otherwise no complaints

    Just bought one, 2021 with 6k on it. Very nice riding car and it's easy to get in and out of as I'm a big guy. The only disappointment I have is that it doesn't have satellite radio. I'm trying to explore my options and see if it can be added.

    I'm considering a 2021 Jetta S right after Christmas. Last June I bought a Subaru Legacy Touring XT (top trim for that model). It was $38,000 and I paid cash. Then my life took a u-turn and I decided to buy a lot out of state and build a home on it. I need all the money I can get for that project. I can still get $37,000 for the Legacy and the VW dealer will sell me their last 2021 Jetta S for MSRP. With a $500 rebate it'll be a bit over $23,000 with California tax and license (rip off state). I'll get 14K out of the deal to apply towards the house. I think I'll be OK with the Jetta. While its not going to have nearly the bells and whistles the Legacy does its should still be comfortable enough for driving on the highway long distances. Plus the extra 10 MPG will be nice.

    I’m thinking of going from 2021 Tiguan to the Passat or Jetta……I know this is the last year for the Passat & I prefer smaller screen inside & smaller sunroof:) I’m sure a family or someone would love the Tiguan - since not many on lot with chip shortage.

    I've never owned a "new" car and I remember back when I was buying my very first car and looking at all those cheap jettas. Never owned one though, 5 cars later Im going to get a new one. lol. Im only going to do the basic warranty though, an extra $3000 for 2 years more doesn't seem like the best value. Plus I may get bored of it after 4 years anyway.

    • @CrunchyTire
      @CrunchyTire 2 года назад +1

      whew 3 and 10 extra HP dont become a speed demon with all that extra speed! My last car was a ford mustang but power just isn't that exciting. Honestly it got annoying pulling up to every stoplight and the car next to you always trys to gun it like we're racing. Although a new jetta would cost me more, I was always paranoid about dinging the mustang because it looked so nice, and parked way in the back of parking lots. Those days are over!
