As a nurse, I was taught never massage the calves due to risk of releasing venous clots into the circulation of ELDERLY patients.
I was taught that and I taught it to my students.

Geriatric is commonly reference as 65 and older. It’s a pretty good starting point. Obviously, people age at different rates based on a large number of factors.
Yoga poses I do daily: Tree, Warrior Three, Half-Moon, Eagle. I started doing balance work after falling down the stairs a few times. Those four poses will help work your core and improve your balance as they are all single-leg standing poses. I do a bunch of other poses for flexibility, range of motion and strength too. Yoga has a lot of benefits for seniors.
you are such an inspiration. Thank you for continuing to teach us and being an example for those of us will illnesses that compromise our abilities. I was on chemo at the time but have some permanent side-effects that affect balance.
THANK YOU for addressing this. I’m 83 with fibromyalgia/very fragile skin, and always looking for tools and tips for relief. I was considering a massage gun after watching other videos, and am glad to learn that it’s not appropriate for my situation. You all are a wonderful resource…I have learned so much from your videos over the years. Hope Bob is well…I do miss him.

I'm 80 and the phys ther used it on my shoulder, it changed from an ache to a pain. Bad, I would not take the chance again. The gentle vibrating massagers are much better.

I had a massage gun used on my upper back at a physical therapy session and became extremely dizzy afterwards. It messed up the crystals in my inner ear.

33% of this video is an advert and you never see Bob anymore. It’s like Brad murdered him for his share of the business and overall the quirkness and purity of the channel has gone. Look at the numbers📉. As someone who used to actively promote this channel I’m gutted that having millions of subscribers has killed it. Where’s the theme tune? That was the hook. Whoever wanted that gone is the main problem of watching this channel slowly crash. Who are these younger dudes always hanging around. Work of watch time and viewership. Subscribers are not the metric that matters. Edit. The thumbs are cringe. I get your doing what you think works but this channel had its own thing. I miss the old days 😢 I wish you all the best but by making it more clickable it’s making it less watchable
