The crazy thing is that when they do this during a real concert, they actually have to sing too! I don’t know how they manage it.
The dance practice videos don’t generally have subtitles, but for this song, I hope you’ll look up the lyrics sometime. They tell the story about how BTS as a band has been “running” nonstop from their very beginning , back when they were just hopeful trainees chasing a dream.
In jhope’s breakdown verse near the end of the song, he calls out the members’ names one after another, and they each appear from behind him as they’re called. Then all together, they do the group handshake thing they have always done before every performance, since their early days. It’s really touching, if you know what’s going on. 😊

I love at the end of this practice when you hear the yells. I grew up dancing, danced my entire life and even professionally and that moment that other dancers start hyping you up at the end of the dance, when you are tired, know you're almost done and you are pushing as hard as you can... that hype gives you that last bit of energy you need to nail it. It can give you goosebumps. I think the best example of that is during the ON dance practice. OMG. It's awesome to watch. I won't spoil it if you're going to watch it, but at the end, when the other dancers are hyping them up... it's awesome and very much a thing that dancers will do during practices especially for very difficult choreo.
Just wanted to let you know that ‘Run’ and ‘Run BTS’ are two different songs. They also have a variety show that is called Run BTS. Yeah we know it is confusing lol. The song Run BTS doesn’t have a music video but has a live performance. The song Run does have a music video. If you haven’t I recommend doing I Need You before Run (it will make more sense in that order)….

Run BTS (song) was introduced at the free concert in Busan. Then covid hit. It was a little harder to see live because of the camera angles and black outfits, so many many people watch this dance practice. Check the number of views.
One part of the choreography that I love is the ending when RM who is the leader is higher than everyone else and the 3 youngest (Jimin, V, and Jungkook) are on one side and the 3 oldest (Jin, Suga, and J-Hope) are on the other side and RM is in the middle when it comes to their ages so it works out great.
There's no music video to Run BTS, and the choreography only came about for their Busan concert ❤
I honestly never thought my level of admiration could go any higher, but when I saw their Busan concert, I was in absolute awe

Okay, so first of all, this song, along with other two, were the last songs that they did as a group after they enlisted in the military and pursued their solo work. This song is from their anthology album “Proof” from 2022. It contains title tracks, b-sides, demos or unreleased tracks and 3 new songs, “RUN BTS” being one of them (not to be confused with their other song called “RUN” released in 2015 and their variety show “RUN BTS”).
The dance practices are the exact choreographies that they perform on stage. Apart from very few small changes here and there, they perform it exactly like in the dance practice in concerts and shows.
I kindly suggest you watch the MMA 2019 performance and the MMA 2020 performance as well.

Please remember to turn on the captions, their words are amazing. The more you watch them, the more amazed you will be. Their synchronization is sick! I saw an interview once when they talked about watching each other's eyes in the mirror when they practiced so their eye levels would all be the same. That is dedication to their craft.
They have such great choreos... Many, if not all of them, because they don't have a single bad songs at all, but... That being said, this is one of their best choreos ever, and also one of the hardest. Particularly i enjoy Jin a lot in this choreo, because it shows how much he has grown as a dancer. He had a hard time learning to dance the first years, so i am Happy for him.
This sure is a favourite..so full of energy..when they did the live performance at the last Busan concert, they doubled the energy, otherwise they did this choreo and sang live….so amazing I almost fell out of my choir🤩💥

Ok i have to admit…I totally use bts content for auditive and visual stimming 😅💜. My neurodivergent brain LOVES it. They are responsible for my best ASMR experiences.
When I say they help me healing, it can be understood literally. I can sleep better, concentrate better and regulate my emotions better after watching or while hearing bts. Now. There it is 😂.

Run is part of the BU, I'd recommend doing the BU videos in order when you're ready. First is I Need You, then onstage prologue (basically a short film with Butterfly as the soundtrack), Run, and Young Forever. For each one make sure you watch to the very end, there are hidden clues 😊

Nearly every minute of their lives are documented….if you watch Rise of Bangtang you get to witness their rise…it’s a fan made documentary and very well done one at that …but you will see how hard they work to be who they are …all of their songs have meaning nearly every one has a dance practice video…but I think you would find it very interesting

This was a new song they released for the Proof Anthology Album. ARMY went nuts when we first heard it. I remember letting out a big scream and got up and started dancing. We wanted choreo to this song and never thought we would get it but they surprised us and performed it for the first and only time ever during the Yet to Come concert in Busan. ARMY lost their minds.

8:13 From what I've seen, they don't deviate. It took me a bit to notice, but they generally have the person who is singing/ rapping in the center, or, if not the center, then the focal point at that moment. That's why they are constantly moving around. When one is sick or injured, they leave a hole where the missing person is supposed to be.
If you want to see their older stuff No More Dream is their debut song. Watch the music video first, then the dance practice, but even from their debut, they were solid. I'm a fairly new fan, so I don't understand the setup of their pre-debut years, but I think some of them were working on things up to a couple years before they debuted. I think Jimin was the last to join, so he had the least amount of time to practice before they debuted? Not sure about my info.

And the other thing is, if they do an awards show, they do all the choreography. But if they are at their concert, they do one or two highlights of the choreography and enjoy spending time with the fans. (eg fire performance) but if it's a new performance they do it all (like Run BTS in Busan concert) ❤

Just to clarify BTS has a habit of reusing names I think they live to confuse Army 😂. So there is an older song “Run” by BTS (part of the BU), this is “Run BTS” by BTS (part of Proof anthology album last year), they also have their variety show Run BTS which has used both Run and Run BTS as theme songs. Clear huh 😂 absolutely killer choreography.

Nick just to let you know this is not their song Run which also has a music video.
This is a song called Run BTS and they performed it live for the first time at their Busan concert a few months ago. They had released an audio version of the song but the concert performance was the first time ARMY had ever seen the choreography. As of yet there is no MV for this song.
It would be well worth reacting to that live performance from the Busan concert.

Run and Run BTS are 2 different songs. This one you just watched is Run BTS, it doesn't have a music video.
Some of their other great dance practice vids: Fire, Blood Sweat and Tears, Danger, Idol, DNA, Black Swan.

All of the BTS dance practices from 2013 to present, can be found at their RUclips channel "BANGTANTV"
Two different songs' "Run" is from 2016 and is not your typical BTS video - there's zero choreo, even though there is actual very cool choreo for the song in a dance practice video for when the song was done live at performances....Run's music video is part of the BU, so it continues the storyline that was started in the video for "I Need U"..... It's VERY easy for new reactors not already familiar with BTS' discography to confuse 'Run' and 'Run BTS' and think they are the same song...... When this dance practice for 'Run BTS' was first released, reactors made this mistake all the time, so don't sweat it
