That Deere with the Blower is probably one of the only loader mounted blowers in the city, Choquette seems to be one of the only companies to do such operations with a tractor.
Excellent video Elton. Very efficient technology for snow removal process. Actually pretty amazing turn radios those graders have. Cool plows with a huge flexible swath.
Nice video man! The truck at the end, the W900, is my parents' on. I will show them your video and Les Choquette is my family! Happy new years to you !
I was in Montreal recently….witnessing how fast & efficient the city crew works (compared to that of Toronto…being in my opinion, too slow after a major snowfall).
Good video, liked the big artics, sensible idea. Here in the UK fortunately we don't get quite so much, - anything over 2mm and everybody leaves their cars at home.
If we did that, they wouldn't have anything to plow right back onto sidewalks and driveway openings that have already been cleared, so customers and homeowners can come out to a frozen mess where there shouldn't be one.
Fun fact: The orange triangle on the back of slow moving vehicles means the machine doesn't go more than 40kms/h. If u get caught going lets say 44km/h you can actually get a ticket for speeding. Even if you're in a 60km/h zone lol
isnt that a modified larue? all of their blowers have their own motor, this one was pto driven. i know of one place that the motor end burnt, so they removed it and converted it to pto drive
Great video. It's been about 10 years since I worked downtown Montreal. This brings back great memories.
Thanks to show what we do for the Montréalais. I was whit this crew working to clean the snow❄🤟
Great video brother! Always look forward to these.
Great video! I like watching the old Champion graders which I guess are Volvo’s now.

Being able to tilt the front wheels makes it turn like a car. Graders are fun to drive.
Montreal must have a massive snow removal budget. The amount of equipment and man hours is probably pretty staggering.
Those Deeres were getting it done. Sweet.
My mother adored John F. Kennedy. Class act Montreal!
Finally some snow removal!!!!!

I wish they would do something similar like this in the US so there wouldn't be any giant snow piles on the side of the road
If we did that, they wouldn't have anything to plow right back onto sidewalks and driveway openings that have already been cleared, so customers and homeowners can come out to a frozen mess where there shouldn't be one.
Very cool video
They have trouble getting within 2-3 ft of the curb here in Iowa
Please don't move the camera so fast. We get dizzy watching the video.

the truck is w900L 1999 with a caterpillar 3406 engine, it has over 44,000 hours and over two million killometers
Cool man et merci!

In the USA they just use those trucks to put the snow in the potholes and smooth the streets out.
keep your snow up there, i prefer the non-snow south!
COOL
😃😀🙂👍
The street wasn't renamed for JFK - it was a brand new street that didn't exist before the Metro construction in the mid-60's.

Elton get a stabiliser for your outdoor shooting . 17 % of peoples will quit your videos because they will gett ses sick on their couch .
Those Wackers are the worst sidewalk machine ever made.
Yup I'm not a fan of them
@@retroolschool It makes you wonder how much they paid for a wheel loader without the loader just to put a plow on it.
@@bradleyfitkin4141 no joke it's $120,000 to $140,000 new.
