    This test also brings up the importance of the integrity of safety rails.

    I bet it wouldnt work so well from a stronger angle. It still works way better then I expected, and I'm also glad to see they test these things!

  • @tomasz35
    @tomasz35 16 лет назад

    now that is pretty amazing, but you should make your barriers motorcyclist's friendly, with something covering the poles, when a biker slides he wouldn't hit a pole, instead he would hit a flat surface which may reduce injuries

    @EmiNemfan0il did the bus driver died?

  • @navdrum001
    @navdrum001 14 лет назад

    @TheVsvquickscope The bus is not being driven, you would hope the driver could take some sort of control after the impact. Plus, you have more chance of fatality if that big ass bus hit you head on than coming in at an acute angle.

    @xXJeReMiAhXx99 well this is H2 W5 this w5 means that they are trying to make a barrier that would have a "working width" of less then 2.3m or sth like that and NO LIKE I SAID " the point is to keep the vehicle on the road"! Did you read this part ?! and a barrier that wont keep a bus on the road WILL NOT BE THERE THAT IS WHY THERE IS THE EUROPEAN STANDARD "EN 1317" for road restriction systems! read what I said and try to understand what I have said !!!

  • @jokemas7er
    @jokemas7er 14 лет назад

    @xXJeReMiAhXx99 well the point is to keep the vehicle on the road indeed but it is a failed attempt if the car leaves its own lane and enters the other lane. imagine if this was a high way or a normal road this bus would have met with the trucks in the other lane and may be some other cars and what you have here is a huge chain crash

    looks fine, but on buses+coaches you dont have to wear seatbelts so half the people on the bus wud of just been hit by the other half ,i like the way it carried its speed so it could bounce off then plow into on coming traffic.they should stick to making family holidays.

    @navdrum001 I am not a biker, used to be one but not anymore, but some protection for them would be nice, just saying. I have seen with my own eyes what those barriers do to a biker, severed limb lying on the road is not pretty thing to see.

  • @xXJeReMiAhXx99
    @xXJeReMiAhXx99 14 лет назад

    @jokemas7er what? dude seriously u think it's better for the bus to fly off the cliff/hill then for it to stay on the road on the other lane and when stuff like this happens atleast 80% of the time it's cus the driver is sleeping and idk about u but i think this would wake up the driver so he can regain control and almost always drivers fall asleep AT NIGHT there arent 20 cars coming on the other lane at night ur comment is just unrealistic did u even think that through before posting?
