Boy, oh boy! Hats off!! Maybe you boys up there at Duero coulda be paid for your merits. Every1 using wheels woulda hafta give thumbs up! Thanks & remember the old sentence: "Those who save a single life will be prized and honored over the rest of human beings". Thanks!
Industrias Duero está al ladito de mi casa. No imaginaba que hicieran cosas como esta. Fijáos como el quitamiedos aguanta de forma estoica el peso del autocar... Agüita.
now that is pretty amazing, but you should make your barriers motorcyclist's friendly, with something covering the poles, when a biker slides he wouldn't hit a pole, instead he would hit a flat surface which may reduce injuries
@TheVsvquickscope The bus is not being driven, you would hope the driver could take some sort of control after the impact. Plus, you have more chance of fatality if that big ass bus hit you head on than coming in at an acute angle.
@craig29t this will save anybody on the other side of the motorway,, ya know from getting squashed by the bus flying towards them, or possibly from going over the side of a cliff, just a few examples
@fraguzz yup, that would be great. but they use double railing instead.. they just put one under another and then it becomes much safer for bikers..so do they say...
@xXJeReMiAhXx99 well this is H2 W5 this w5 means that they are trying to make a barrier that would have a "working width" of less then 2.3m or sth like that and NO LIKE I SAID " the point is to keep the vehicle on the road"! Did you read this part ?! and a barrier that wont keep a bus on the road WILL NOT BE THERE THAT IS WHY THERE IS THE EUROPEAN STANDARD "EN 1317" for road restriction systems! read what I said and try to understand what I have said !!!
wghat about the pole to the right of the buss at 0:53. the wire would had to break through that. i know what your taling about. that white thing... i think thats something else...
@xXJeReMiAhXx99 well the point is to keep the vehicle on the road indeed but it is a failed attempt if the car leaves its own lane and enters the other lane. imagine if this was a high way or a normal road this bus would have met with the trucks in the other lane and may be some other cars and what you have here is a huge chain crash
@jokemas7er oh i see what ur saying about the standards but i was just saying it was better then nothing not that it was perfect or that it could meet certain standards
looks fine, but on buses+coaches you dont have to wear seatbelts so half the people on the bus wud of just been hit by the other half ,i like the way it carried its speed so it could bounce off then plow into on coming traffic.they should stick to making family holidays.
in italia: è per avere le strade come le abbiamo e ci fanno pagare un sacco di tasse, figuriamoci se dovessero mettere queste protezioni, risparmieremmo se ce le mettessimo direttamente noi automobilisti di tasca nostra
@navdrum001 I am not a biker, used to be one but not anymore, but some protection for them would be nice, just saying. I have seen with my own eyes what those barriers do to a biker, severed limb lying on the road is not pretty thing to see.
@jokemas7er what? dude seriously u think it's better for the bus to fly off the cliff/hill then for it to stay on the road on the other lane and when stuff like this happens atleast 80% of the time it's cus the driver is sleeping and idk about u but i think this would wake up the driver so he can regain control and almost always drivers fall asleep AT NIGHT there arent 20 cars coming on the other lane at night ur comment is just unrealistic did u even think that through before posting?
@Stralis123 So what!! you have to cater for the majority...riding a bike is ones own decision, i love bikes, but know i would kill my self on a public road with one, so i choose not to ride them there.
This test also brings up the importance of the integrity of safety rails.
I bet it wouldnt work so well from a stronger angle. It still works way better then I expected, and I'm also glad to see they test these things!
Those guard rails are pretty good!
They're all built like that.
Boy, oh boy! Hats off!! Maybe you boys up there at Duero coulda be paid for your merits. Every1 using wheels woulda hafta give thumbs up!
Thanks & remember the old sentence: "Those who save a single life will be prized and honored over the rest of human beings".
Thanks!
wow had no idea how strong those where thats really impressive
How do I apply for the job as driver? I'd dig the shit out of doing this.
Industrias Duero está al ladito de mi casa. No imaginaba que hicieran cosas como esta. Fijáos como el quitamiedos aguanta de forma estoica el peso del autocar... Agüita.
woow thats really amazing! i hadn't believe that if anyone told me that.
basically just went 'nnnnoooppe, your going *this* way.'
wow, that's impressive! didn't break and it kept that bus inside. Most of the broken rails I've seen break off in sections and let the car through.
@EmiNemfan0il but did the bus' front bumper lived?
@Stralis123 what would be safe for bikers? a gigantic pillow?
thats amazing. they give in easy. and no the guard rail didnt die, they were built and meant to break like that so that YOU dont break.
0:56 -0:59 that look at the pol to the left of the buss. how can a wire go through a pole and not damage it?
mira que son buenos los montadores de duero....
@CrashJSTest he was including the 40 seconds it took him to write that comment.
this is great...could save many lifes...
Yeah thats probably why they've been using them for the past 30 years
what would happen if somebody crashes at the same place
Lets hope in future everywhere would be that kind rail...
esta barrera la monte yo!!! jejeeje en italia muy buen trabajo de todos!!!!
did the guard rail died ?
I'm impressed!
it wouls be unlikely to happen but what if it hit head on and not at an angle?
whats the song?? please tell me!!
now that is pretty amazing, but you should make your barriers motorcyclist's friendly, with something covering the poles, when a biker slides he wouldn't hit a pole, instead he would hit a flat surface which may reduce injuries
0:55 you can see two guys in the hut turning to each other and high fiving in celebration of the success.
Enhorabuena.
@EmiNemfan0il did the bus driver died?
@TheVsvquickscope The bus is not being driven, you would hope the driver could take some sort of control after the impact. Plus, you have more chance of fatality if that big ass bus hit you head on than coming in at an acute angle.
We have theese here in the U.S but I have yet to see them be this effective.
@craig29t this will save anybody on the other side of the motorway,, ya know from getting squashed by the bus flying towards them, or possibly from going over the side of a cliff, just a few examples
the fence looks better now
quite amazing actually.
Isn't this just the same as the rails we've had in the UK for the past few decades???
Who is this going to save?
@matims04 Dont know, did the sand died ?
Parecen buenos en seguridad!!
So THAT's why we need safety rails.
@fraguzz yup, that would be great. but they use double railing instead.. they just put one under another and then it becomes much safer for bikers..so do they say...
But, will it blend?
very impressive!
@Stralis123 your right
Would love to see the bus come from the left-most rail!
@xXJeReMiAhXx99 well this is H2 W5 this w5 means that they are trying to make a barrier that would have a "working width" of less then 2.3m or sth like that and NO LIKE I SAID " the point is to keep the vehicle on the road"! Did you read this part ?! and a barrier that wont keep a bus on the road WILL NOT BE THERE THAT IS WHY THERE IS THE EUROPEAN STANDARD "EN 1317" for road restriction systems! read what I said and try to understand what I have said !!!
godlike toughness!!!
مشكور
wghat about the pole to the right of the buss at 0:53. the wire would had to break through that.
i know what your taling about. that white thing... i think thats something else...
thats very good.
1 word.. STRONG!!
Whee, looks fun.
wow i thought those railings were to there for decoration. and that people will feel more safe seeing it beside the road lol
What about bus nr2?
i`m impressed
so weird that tall the poles just snap, and that its just a piece of hanging aluminium, AND IT STILLS HOLDS A BUS! :D
yea that was a shock to me too
Bloody amazing....just amazing ! It behaves almost like a piece of rope.
when a 44ton truck spins out of control, you will know.
So it sends the bus straight back in to the live traffic ? :D Nice...
Better than oncoming traffic
@craig29t
Anybody near a canyon??
or maybe the wire is part of the pulley system so that the bus moves ???????????
@xXJeReMiAhXx99 well the point is to keep the vehicle on the road indeed but it is a failed attempt if the car leaves its own lane and enters the other lane. imagine if this was a high way or a normal road this bus would have met with the trucks in the other lane and may be some other cars and what you have here is a huge chain crash
impressive...
thumbs up if u thought this was a crash test for a train
nice one
@jokemas7er oh i see what ur saying about the standards but i was just saying it was better then nothing not that it was perfect or that it could meet certain standards
@hpept
I think that he'd rather prefer not to crash at all.
looks fine, but on buses+coaches you dont have to wear seatbelts so half the people on the bus wud of just been hit by the other half ,i like the way it carried its speed so it could bounce off then plow into on coming traffic.they should stick to making family holidays.

that bus willl be thrown back like it was on a sling shot
I think I rode that bus to LaCrosse WisconsinL(
what do you want? some pillows or bubble wrap maybe? haha
good guard rail
pena que com as moto nao acontece assim! : /
wow.. thats effective.
impressive
@fraguzz no, a nerf bus
A motorbike rider would be dead after an impact with that guardrail.
Those piles would have ripped him into pieces.
Okay now let's see worst case. 80,000 pounds at 85MPH head on into the rail.
This, save lifes!!
@navdrum001 I am not a biker, used to be one but not anymore, but some protection for them would be nice, just saying. I have seen with my own eyes what those barriers do to a biker, severed limb lying on the road is not pretty thing to see.

cool
@swatsticker Comment went over your head a bit I fear. Can't be bothered to explain.
nice
That driver should be fired-NOW!
wow
the rail fails its not so good that you fly back on the road after a crash you will probebly get hit by one other car
effective
Those rails are worth shit if some fishy guy stole screws from it.
@Back7sword U MUSNT HAVE A LICENSE
Joder !
Im sorry to say Mr Bus, but youve been Noped
fake ...there is a wire on the right side of the bus like speedcops91 said
Ofcourse, its blended by the bus
If this music was playing on that bus I would crash in into a barrier too.
I bet Robert Kubica wished he crashed into a guard rail like this...
au man. kannst du nicht lesen du honk?
@Stralis123 So what!! you have to cater for the majority...riding a bike is ones own decision, i love bikes, but know i would kill my self on a public road with one, so i choose not to ride them there.
@OranjeEINS I agree cars should be banned.
safe for cars but not for bikers
