I currently own this watch for 2-3 weeks or so, and here's the gist of it: PROs: * Durable and tough build * Great display quality (it's a complete circle display) * Fast charging * Awesome battery life! (even w/ ambient display mode on my day finished off with 40-60% of battery life depending on the usage and watch face, though much higher if turned off. Either way I don't care if I have to charge the watch every day) * Smartphone notifications seamlessly gets pushed to the watch, so no more missed notifications! * A great fitness companion * Software has great potential (I can browse, calculate and even play on a first gen. smart watch!) * From where I live (Philippines), availability is not much of an issue as compared to the Moto 360 where availability is scarce despite Lenovo's wide presence here. CONs * Quite bulky, despite having a much smaller screen than the smaller Moto 360 (1.3 vs 1.56 inch) * Average outdoor visibility (though its plenty bright when indoors, even at its lowest brightness) * Android Wear in buggy and full of glitches (despite what reviewers say, the watch lags and hangs a lot! This is maybe due to the slow internet connection when connected to the phone or just a poorly optimized software overall) * The design may not be as elegant or classy as the Moto 360, but considering the watch is targeting a group of people specifically for its design, I can't complain much. Still I can't help but wish the design could be better * Expensive. Bought it for 13,800 pesos. But last time I checked the Moto 360 costs much more at 15,000+ pesos at an online retail store. Still, it's expensive... In conclusion. I wish Google would push an update sooner than later to fix all the lag and bugs in the software.
The full circle display is nice but I still prefer the moto 360 with its more elegant design and auto brightness adjustment. It gets old having to manually adjust the brightness of your watch every time it needs it.
pengwaffe thanks, I don't think you'll be dissapointed if you choose to go with the moto 360, I wear mine every day and have thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a great device and people always comment on how good it looks.
Something that you left out or don't know about. But Android Wear devices don't need to be connected to your smartphone for the fitness tracking. Also with the latest update you can now install and listen to music directly from the watch (Bluetooth speaker or headset). The other thing is there are many more apps then just a 100. You must not know this but Android Wear allows developers to add Wear code to their existing Android phone and tablet apps. There is no actual wear apps for those ones, but the wear functionality is sent to the watch. Needless to say that you can still have standalone wear apps as well.
Keep up the great reviews :) Where can I check this and other smartwatches in Varna? (Интересно ми е да видя дали часовникът няма да е прекалено голям за моята ръка)
@2:00 Really, the black area on the moto 360 is a "fat strip"? What do you gain by having those extra pixels other than a slightly more aesthetically pleasing display?
is it possible to bundle a smartwatch and a bluetooth headset with the a smartphone at the same time and when there is a incoming call so accept it with your smartwatch and talk via a bluetooth headset?
I'm just a small new channel with a limited budget. I only have a few videos up at the minute but would love your feed back. It would be even better if you subscribed. Thank you
very good review. i appreciate that you inserted your opinion instead of simply parroting specs and general capabilities of the device.

Just waiting for a Premium looking watch this LG watch has a very rugged feel the moto 360 has that premium feel just wish it came in gold

A more aesthetically pleasing display, not a half-baked one.
One more thing, how can I see my internet speed directly on the top bar like in the video?
More elegant if circle without number

That background music is quite annoying.

Poor reviewer and unsatisfactory review. It's a pain watching as it's not ready for public viewing.
Quit whining about accents all the time maybe people?
