Unfortunately for Elvis, his manager chose these schlock songs. The part that really bothers me most about this period in Elvis's career, was that he wasn't doing the music that he should've been doing.
This is not Elvis's best movie is definitely not Kid Galahad King Creole or flaming star but it's definitely not as bad as advertise is definitely better than his other movies like Double Trouble and Paradise Hawaiian style easy come easy go the songs on too bad in the story is romantic and adventurous like I said it's not Elvis's best movie but there's five or six others that a worse than this one I give Harem scare'm 2 and 1/2 Stars go east young man is a nice song
@@b.j.doubleu3477 yes I always thought Elvis was a very good actor a versatile actor at that I don't think he ever got his due or respect as an actor he's actually pretty versatile more so than people think in fact I like most of Elvis's movies Kid Galahad flaming star and Jailhouse Rock are amongst my favorites I also like the lighter-weight movies mixed with comedy and drama girls girls girls fun in Acapulco super movies Elvis can do comedy and drama equally as well in fact I like most of Elvis's movies this may be seven I don't like but I always thought Harum scarum was not as bad as people say or advertise it has comedy drama and Adventure mixed in with romance and music and the story line isn't too bad either Elvis was capable of doing so much more as an actor movie he was very charismatic versatile and talented as an actor they might have been about 10 movies he should not have made but the rest we're good actually I think some of his movies are very underrated thank you so much for sharing Elvis was definitely an underrated actor I wish he did a couple more dramas like wild in the country there was another great Elvis movie thank you
