Highlight of the festival. This is the best Cortez the Killer I've ever seen / heard! I was on the rail and turned around at one point during this tune and the young lady behind me is literally standing there with her hands on her head and her mouth wide open in amazement.
Killer moment of the festival (no pun intended) . Love Lukas Nelson. His guitar playing sounds so much like Neal on this and his vocals sound like his Dad. I had a great weekend at Floydfest and I'm still smiling: )
I truly enjoy Lukas and his talent... but if you believe this to be the best cover for Cortez the Killer, I will counter your opinion with Dave Matthew's Band w/Warren Haynes. There are two versions and IMHO both are considerably better than Lucas's. No disrespect intended.

have to say that of all the 'covers' i heard at this festival this was the best one. mind boggling, jaw dropping, emotionally stunning, indeed.
