Omg THANK YOU! I'm not a woodworker by any means but I built a simple little table to go behind my couch to put drinks and stuff on. Everything was measured to a T but I did not account for my floor being off. This will save me years of therapy ❤
I’ll have to do this for a table I just built my 18 month old to allow a few more months before I have to build a new table all together. Thanks for a straight forward easy tutorial.
Thanks for the quick tutorial. After seeing your IG post I knew I wanted ro use these on my next table build which isn't far off. Now you have cemented my first impression.
that's a great tip, thank you so much. i was wondering if you have any tips for a beginner like me on how to diy a table that's level, i have limited tools but have most of the basic tools.. Thank you.
Awesome. Might use this on the bed frame I’m building but the customer wants it back 2 days from now so I don’t know if I have time to make that addition.
Hi Bent, I like that idea but would it be ok to use a slightly larger diameter forstner bit only because in my case I have fat fingers and should the felt pad ever recess below the opening it might be difficult to raise it back out with my fingers. Thanks.
I want to level an Ikea bed frame (our floors are not level). Would this work for a headboard and footboard with 1.5" diameter? Any tips for working with particle board? Haven't bought the bed yet. I'm just thinking ahead.
Thanks for the great video. Would this technique be applicable for a waterfall leg where the leg bottom is end grain? Wood and grain not be suitable for recessing a glider foot with a Forster bit?
I need to use some thing like this on a 1 3/4" x 1 3/4" solid birch leg. How large of a hole would you make on this size leg without risking cracking the edge of the leg? In the meantime, I'm looking for smaller diameter leveling feet as I like these to be concealed.
Jason, I see you use a lot of Festool stuff, even the 18v tools. So is Festool really that much better than other tools or are they a sponsor giving them to you free or quite reduced pricing?
I really enjoy their tools and I personally feel they are the best tools out there. I have purchased every single Festool product in my shop at full cost. I am not currently affiliated with any company. Festool just happens to be a brand that I really like and fully support.
Bent's Woodworking thanks for getting back to me. Especially so quickly! I hope you keep pumping out videos because I really like your format and instruction, I think you do a great job. PS - I should’ve never watched your video about your apron because now I hate mine LOL
I love your videos, but you have the terrible habit of making about a quarter of your sentences sound like questions because of your uptalking. Sorry, but it's true.

I would probably go with something more beefy for a bed frame
@@bentswoodworking my thought exactly.
@@bentswoodworking I’m just trying to find something to pad the bottom of the r legs on a wood floor.

Ordinary Woodworker absolutely. You could use any size you would like

You could use something like this but I would try to find metal threaded inserts for the feet as opposed to the plastic inserts

If you have a sharp enough forstner bit I don’t see how it would be an issue.
If I get smaller diameters feet, what size forstner bit? How much bigger does it need to be?
Interesting.

They sell these in smaller sizes as well
Wonder if they're strong enough for an aquarium
I don’t see why not
@@bentswoodworking how much weight can each one support? im building a 125 gallon aquarium that can easily weigh over half a ton
