So despite avoiding all Pepsi's, about one Pepsi is drunk every 2 minutes or so and that would STILL be considered a _lot._ Edit: scratch that, a whole bunch of Pepsi's are drunk halfway through.
so, pepsi man is collecting dozens of pop cans, only to reach a vending machine for just one more can? seems crazy to pay for a can after collecting enough earlier to give an entire platoon diabetes
@@HoldMeBack Well obviously not all the geometry would be possible but I think there is a case to be made for using similar techniques as early racing games, like scanline changes for the ground and Mode 7 scaling for houses and trucks, as well as sprites for Pepsiman himself. It probably wouldn’t look exactly the same but it could probably work, maybe resembling something like Taz-Mania on SNES.
Wow, it sure was crazy. It's amazing how those truck skips just work, I wonder if they have been implemented in real speedruns, 5:05 and I didn't know there was a path right there! Quite amazing.
It’s funny that this game is about Pepsi when it’s mostly made of sprites.
*rimshot*
Good one

One of the greatest heroes to ever grace a game console.
And when the world needed him the most...he vanished.
But now, Pepsiman has returned.
We missed you, our hero.
My neighbor helped me with the last giant can level back in the day. I'll never forget the day we got to see the ending!
Pepsi for Neighbor.™
Pepsi for Ending.
Now this is the content we need
I like that he runs past hundreds of Cans of Pepsi only to buy one from the machine!
But of course! Pepsiman is an upstanding hero who would never steal so much as a can of soda, even if it's been left out in the open and abandoned!
@@E-102_Gamma Not a hero we want, but a hero we deserve.
the machine has refrigerated pepsi
This also doubled as a low-cans run. Because to be the best Pepsiman, you have to leave the cans for the fans.
Except for 14 of them. We are not compromising on those. **shot**
Man Sonic Adventure 2 looks awesome.
Pepsiman runs like he is on Coke

Love the guy's place at the end. He probably went to go pass a kidney stone :P

🎵Got places to go, I gotta follow my rainbow!🎵
This was the best Sonic game between 3 and Mania.
I miss that old Pepsi logo.
This game along with Pepsiman (1999), Pepsiman (1999) and Pepsiman (1999) deserve a remake.
Pepsiman needs to return.

Were those 14 cans unavoidable?
Pepsiman should have been in Super Smash Brothers Ultimate as a DLC fighter. 😃

Pepsiman invented the speedrun 😎👍
Gotta go fast!
I feel like this game could’ve been easily done on the SNES.
No way. You mean the ps1 or n64. SNES would not be strong enough for this game 3D rendering
