That chicken looks great. I doubt that mine would turn out so well. I just don't have the experience to know how to gauge cooking chicken without it turning tough. Colonel Sanders original recipe is my go to for fried chicken.
I love to eat fried chicken but always been reluctant to cook it. What do you do with the grease when you're done cooking? Do you store it? If yes, what do you store it in?
Thank you! It depends if you mean thin cutlets, I would de 2-3 minutes on each side, boneless wings, 4-5 minutes on each side, a whole chicken breast, 6-7 minutes on each side.
Your buttermilk fried chicken looks yummy, Julie. You have the most beautiful name ever. What did you enjoy about making the fried chicken? Stay safe, sweetie.

I discard it when I fry 2 batches of chicken because it releases a lot of crumbs. You can always strain it.

Love this recipe. I'll be using drumsticks this time but what cooking time would you suggest if using boneless, chicken breasts? Thanks!
