Love it Chef! In my Mom’s fried chicken (chicken every Sunday) I loved the skin best with all those fried onions she preferred before adding the chicken. But your crispy coating with it’s not-so-secret medley of spices looks like a whole new world of delicious crunch. Thanks for the recipe!

Great recipe !!!! I use corn starch as well along with a tbsp of sugar in the flour. And since we like spicy food i put half a bottle of hot sauce crushed red pepper and ceyenne in the buttermilk. But thats not for everyone. Thanks for the upload.

Double dipping the pieces..now THAT was a good idea. Also: oven baking to make certain the chicken's cooked thru? Excellent. The 350 deg. oil will burn the coating pretty quickly, ya have to watch it closely. (That's why baking it afterward is smart). This is one of the better fry chicken recipes on U-Toob. There are dozens.

It helps tenderize the chicken because of the acidity. Also helps the flour and breading stick better.
