Call me crazy but I honestly think if shadow had stayed "dead" after this game, the impact of his sacrifice would be that much greater. I personally think, if they wanted, that they should have waited to bring him back several years later rather than the very next game.
Originally SA2 was probably going to be the last game made, but it did so well that Sega cracked on and made Heroes.
If that happened then Sonic x Shadow generations wouldn't have existed

I'm glad Shadow was able to help Sonic and the others to save the world. Sonic and Shadow teamed up in their super forms to stop Gerald Robotnik's plan.
The people who drove Gerald to madness are to blame for everything.

I feel like the totally ruined shadows character after this. The game "Shadow the hedgehog" introduced so many wack things like shadow being part of the black arms
I disagree. I think it made Shadow's Character and make up make much more sense. The powers that he possessed can't have entirely been man made. Even by someone as genius as Gerald Robotnik. In fact, this whole game has been hinting at Shadow not knowing his true purpose, and even Maria didn't tell him what it really was. Because she didn't know herself. Yes he was supposed to save and protect humanity but he was never told from what. The black arms are the true "what" or at least that was the original intention.

The Prototype is gone. Sonic and Shadow used Chaos Control to send the ARK back to it's stable order and Sonic made it back but Shadow was able to stop time on the spot to put an end of Gerald Robotnik's plans.
Why do sonic games have to have such depressing endings :( robot died in first game, shadow dying now, and bonus in the anime that green flower dies and tails is crying in the end. Man 😭

The drop of space colony ARK set up by Gerald Robotnik is way more different than the drop of Axis set up by Char Aznable in Mobile Suit Gundam Char's Counterattack. Gerald planned this as an act of revenge for the death of his colleagues and his granddaughter Maria while Char planned this as revenge for Lalah Sune's death and the corruption of humanity which is why his rivalry with Amuro Ray never ends.
Bruh can we talk about the fact that Eggman just watched a video in which:
He found out his cousin was murdered
His grandfather went apeshit after said murder (and rightfully so) and literally set up a trap to end all of humanity, and he himself was the one who triggered it unknowingly. From my understanding, Eggman didn't actually plan on destroying the fucking planet, he wanted to like rule it or whatever
His grandfather was basically betrayed by the government
His grandfather got fucking executed on-screen??? (I think, that's what it looked like to me, I could be wrong lol)

Sonic 2 can be sonic adventure dx made in the year 2,022 or 2,023. Sonic 3 can be sonic adventure 2 battle, Sonic 4 can be sonic heros all with Jim Carrey as Dr Robotnik. Dr Robotnik should create metal sonic along w scratch & grounder. Knuckles & others need to have good hip hop songs like this movie gave us. Wiz khalifa speed me up is awesome as hell. Sonic 2,020 is awesome as hell.
