Love the thumbnail and the new intro.
9:57 Not sure Bd3 does much here. I think you should be thinking about Rc8 and pushing c5 next. Maybe Rfc8 and then Rab8.
I make comments as you play to give an idea what I was thinking during the game rather than being clever after the event. ,It also feels like I am playing the game :)
17:08 I don't hate a4. Though white will probably play Qd3 (a nice square). I was thinking about two other moves:
1. I am thinking about h3. Not saying I would play it here. But I am thinking about it. Because back rank mate tactics already seem to be on the horizon.
2. I also like Qc7 hitting c2 and g3.
2:00 It is an open file. It is semi-open if your opponent has a pawn on it and you do not.
19:39 Here the most important thing is to win the c file. I would be definitely thinking about Rc7 and then Rbc8 here. I really hate Qc6. ,White can now play Rc1 with tempo and you can lose that c file.
6:28 I think we had a similar position a few weeks ago. I may be wrong. Yes, there is Qb6 and Qc7, Qc7 is a problem I think because of Bf4 and then you have to move the queen again. So why not at least consider Qc8?
Unlucky dude. You played a good game. Intro is fresh!!
Thanks homie! 💪
good luck with tha journey mate
Thanks man
You could take on 23th move with bishop e5 :D good game, you was better
Thanks brotha
30:34 You handled those exchanges well mate. Now you are a pawn up. You shouldn't lose this. However, it could be a tough endgame. With queens on the board there could be a lot of tactics.
{EDIT - What did i just say!!!! As you said, 'That sucks'. You should not be losing that game. Don't be too hard on yourself in the analysis. yes, you blundered at the end. But you played 99% of the game very well.
Thanks Stephen, that was a fun read and it helps alot. I appreciate the break down
21:52 It will be interesting to see the analysis. But I think you were winning. Not my much. Maybe +1 or a bit less. Then you grabbed the pawn. Now, even though you are a pawn up I am not sure you are winning at all. You have lost the c file. And you bishop and knight look a bit misplaced. It seems that white's pieces are better coordinated.
{EDIT Luckily for you, white made a poor exchange of rooks and handed the c file back to you. And you have the queen bishop fork. You are back in it man!!!]
13:55 The centre is going to open up. But white's king is most exposed. I still don't think Bd3 does much,. And I still think you should pay c5.
[EDIT: 14:49 And now you see the problem with Bd3,. You just have to go back or (WORSE) stop defending the important e4 square. ,Before you played Bd3 you should have thought, what will be opponent play (Rd1) and what will my response be.]
Loved the new intro! Please could you make the sound on your videos louder (or look into how to do this). I love your vids but find it hard to hear :(
Ill look into that thank you
Weirdest thing, I am looking at it now and can hear you perfectly
