Rashok the Elder Raid Guide - Normal/Heroic Aberrus Boss Guide

Rashok, the Elder Normal and Rashok Heroic guide! Rashok is the first raid boss in the Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible raid of Dragonflight. This boss guide for Rashok the Elder will walk you through the important healer, tank and DPS raid mechanics you need to clear this Aberrus raid boss.

You fight Rashok, the Elder in two phases. He gains energy normally, and before it reaches 100 you want to move him to the center to drain it off in the Conduit intermission. Move him away again when his energy is empty or if the raid damage becomes unmanageable.
Players that Rashok targets with Searing Slam want to run out to drop the lava pool on the edge. Do not overlap lava pools and watch out for lava waves coming outt of them. As many raiders as possible need to help stand in the Charged Smash soak, and the Doom Flames soaks need at least one player in each. Avoid the Shadowlava Blast frontal cone.
Tanks on Rashok, the Elder may want to swap between Flaming Slash and Earthen Crush to ensure that no tank takes the same mechanic twice in a short frame of time.
At 100 energy, Rashok, the Elder will wipe the raid so you must move him to the conduit to drain before then. At the conduit, he'll channel heavy raid damage and there will be lines of swirls to dodge.
Heroic Rashok, the Elder gets more frequent lava waves, only two charges of the Conduit before it breaks (draining energy in the middle consumes a charge) and a DoT after soaking Charged Smash.

​@@xilllllixThis definitely is for LFR tho. ie the tank swapping mechanic is a little more nuanced than "tank swap when you need to". Tanks will have a bad time in this fight if that's all the advice they get this fight

Not just dps, the ammount of damage seems high too so healing seems high, also the fact that the more the raid mess up mechanics, the faster the energy goes up, that also means you have less time to kill it before the circuit break.
