I really should have put a disclaimer somewhere in the video but I think here is just as good hahaha, so I'll put some observations in this comment. I'm a guy (he/him), yes I know I sound like a twelve year old :>
Aside from that, there was one SB duffel message mentioning Bonnie that I couldn't fit in the video, but it wouldn't have changed the outcome of the theory. It was about someone working at the pizzaplex talking about how Bonnie was "decommissioned" and that maybe this was even a good thing. It mostly just showed that Management thought that having Monty fill in his shoes was obvious, and doesn't seem to have any corroboration with Monty's actions. Monty's been having aggressive issues ever since Bonnie's disappearance and any time Freddy is threatened to behave or literally goes missing, MONTY is the first choice that comes to mind to be the new frontman, temporarily or permanently (see Vanessa threatening Freddy about "slapping his shell on a new endo" or the Mister Hippo ending). Mostly it just means that management knows Monty is popular and could handle the responsibility of taking centre stage
Mostly I made this video to convince my brother but I didn't expect so many eyes to have reached this already!!! I probably would have put more emphasis on Bonnie's limbs being disassembled (the Mimic's main method of killing in the books) if I'd known
IMPORTANT UPDATE: He finally caught up with Ruin and was immediately recommended this video lmaooo. We watched it together. He had no arguments to refute the theory and said that he liked it :>

Bonnie was portrayed as being good friends with Monty as far as I’m aware. (I haven’t played sb or ruin) There was the painting on the wall in ruin showing Bonnie giving Monty his bass, meaning that they were most likely friends. Maybe bonnie bringing decommissioned caused Monty to begin his aggressive behaviour, which was unknowingly aided by fazbear entertainment by giving him claws.

So I just wonder how Monty and Chica really are whenever they aren’t in their “hostile mode”

It also could have been from the Gator Golf catwalks! Lemme explain… if we minus the scratch marks on Bonnie, his damage is the same type of damage shattered Monty has in base security breach. Broken jaw, broken eyes, same scar on his head, same giant hole in his chest(minute claw marks), and his torso is detached at the waist, we can see his spinal cables in between his waist and chest. (Plus there is a tiny Glamrock Bonnie in the Monty backstory ride at the top of the tornado. I don’t know why it is there but it shows Bonnie falling)

Fun fact and another explanation for the green along the claw marks:
    Hydraulic fluid.

    • @shadowstar8619

Furthermore, for those that may still question monty's source of rage and his character shown in security breach, keep in mind that we see him after the events of Bonnie's discontinuation.
We know that Freddy and the gang some level of sentience and complex emotions. Through roxy's narcissism and through chica's love for food and through Freddy's grief. Through this, we can assume that Monty had some level of feelings as well. We know that Monty existed within the pizzaplex alongside Bonnie, and had his own station within the pizzaplex, monty golf. Similarly, Monty has played the bass guitar/ guitar, and so did Bonnie. It can be assumed that while Monty was not part of the main gang, Bonnie was a large inspiration for Monty and his bass playing abilities. Meaning, once Bonnie was suddenly murdered, Monty could possibly be dealing with grief in a negative way. We see freddy deal with grief by disassociation, while Monty could be refusing to deal with Bonnie's grief altogether and even going to lengths like being determined to find the culprit for Bonnie's death, which can explain his distrust within other members of the gang like Freddy. We even see that Monty sometimes is unmotivated to perform on stage, and this could be from him having a mental breakdown or thinking negatively of himself 'taking Bonnie's palce', the one who he has looked up to for so much time. That is just my general thoughts.

      @@gamingamory
With his grief-filled aggression, and temperamental attitude, of course he would blame it more towards Freddy. And that can either go down two lanes.
I’m focusing primarily on the VIP ending of which you are referring to, but my statement can partially be linked with the arcade game.
Scenario 1 could have Monty’s grief turning to pure, unadulterated aggression and hatred towards the only person with a connection with Bonnie. With his - how do I put this lightly - dummy dum brain, he wouldn’t be too bright to see past what’s face value, essentially meaning that Freddy was close to Bonnie, and would have an easy time luring Bonnie to where he would have to be, therefore, to Monty, the dots would be connected and you couldn’t convince him otherwise, he’s too aggressive and prideful that he believes himself to be utterly correct.
[Off-Topic, but another reason Monty would spend more time up in the catwalks of all places would be him plotting a way to destroy another animatronic without too much a struggle, or he could’ve seen the logs of which showed Bonnie’s last location, and would be investigating his assumption of the ‘scene of the crime’ for a prolonged amount of time, both to find the answer (he hopes it will be Freddy so he would be right) and to stay away from Freddy during the time the suspicion is all time high]
Scenario 2 is that he begrudgingly takes Freddy’s position both out of spite and out of obligation as lead when he goes missing. It’s never truly indicated in that ending whether or not Monty shows up to the show more times or not. It’s very possible he has the same habits of just.. not showin’ up.
Now as for the arcade machine. No idea. The whole place seems to be severely affected by the AR world (with the grid textures) and it’s kinda difficult to figure out if it was programmed by those who made the arcades, or if it was a weird program that links directly to Monty’s CPU. In the original Security Breach, it was planned for those 9 extra holes to be included in the arcade machine, and while in actuality the holes were just unfinished by the devs, in universe, it could definitely be explained by this weird Month CPU thing I just made up, they could’ve finished being created by Monty’s CPU link when right now he’s jus a feral pile of wires and aggression,, where his thoughts are hazy and unfinished (the grid textures being missing information) and only focuses on specific things, like his environment in Monty golf, little aspects of Roxy’s stuff, and his hatred to Freddy. (I’ll have to look at the holes to really get a grip on the idea) but I find it strange that the arcade machine wasn’t active until *after* the pizzaplex was destroyed,, like some weird possession shit still giving power or, maybe being switched on automatically once completed by Monty’s cpu-generated bullshit I just came up with

While we can’t say if the end result is just how they were programmed or corrupted code, they present as having the same range of emotions as a human being. See Roxy’s self consciousness or Monty’s aggression. These traits are still recognizable emotions and thus should be treated as such. That’s the thing about semi-sentient AI. At some point, it becomes indistinguishable from the workings of a human mind because we are, in essence, very complex organic computers. If an AI that may be sentient expresses emotions, then they should be treated as having those emotions. Because if it’s NOT just a programmed response. I think the biggest piece of evidence for monty is not that his claws are black, but that his hands are purple. Just as a small knife can make long incisions, small claws can make long cuts, but getting those huge, hand-sized gashes seem more likely to be the work of tearing and bending rather than slashing. Even if Monty is strong enough to bend metal- which let's be real, all animatronics absolutely can- doing so would be almost impossible without paint scraping off, like you were getting at in the part about Monty needing paint job repairs.

Other things: they are robots. They wouldn’t attack each other. The only times we see them attack each other are Roxy and The Mimic, which is separate from the Glamrock system, and Moon doing stuff, but Eclipse in general seems very aware, so that’s still a separate system, and the STAFF Bots, which are controllable. So, I think Monty’s programming would prevent him from harming a fellow bandmate. Also, while his coaster ride was installed as a cover-up, I think it does apply to his programming, as the characters have relations to each other. So, Monty would appreciate Bonnie in general. He then becomes a rockstar and just gets jealous of Freddy, which is fine since Freddy did nothing special for him in his origin. I wonder how he feels about Chica, since Roxy gave him his mohawk, so they’re likely on good terms.

I also originally thought that Vanny controlled Monty to do it, but with the claws in play I have a sad realization. Freddy might not like going into Bonnie Bowl because he was taken over there and forced to kill his friend. Also, it’s worth noting that there’s Monty Golf carpet underneath Bonnie’s body. I know for a fact that none of the robots have the dexterity to cut out and replace the carpet on their own so it HAD to be staff. It would explain the bowling ball being used too, because Bonnie likely woke up in the back of his room after being dragged there. If it were an animatronic doing the damage, they wouldn’t have needed to use one at all.

You know, the idea that Freddy may have been hijacked and made to do it explains two things so well: HELPI can also get hijacked easily (and there's hints that HELPI and Freddy are the same character, like the Glamrock Freddy ice cream in the panicked hallucination ending), if HELPI is basically a remote terminal for Freddy's AI getting pulled in a tug-o-war with whatever set everything up for the Mimic to lure Cassie in...
And secondly, Freddy just randomly failing and switching into safe mode and needing a reboot: a compromised system (such as one that's been hacked and backdoored...) is going to be inherently less stable, specifically because most hacking is relatively crude, and rebooting into safe mode (with only the most critical core components) is a good way to shut down hacking attempts.
(If anyone wants to factor in prototypes and vulnerabilities, btw: a prototype would also have some security flaws because it's often using a non-final version of the software, but also physical prototypes are made to be much more physically resilient and durable than the retail versions; so Freddy being retconed as a prototype would mean he has security issues AND is capable of overpowering the other non-prototype animatronics just because he'd be much harder to shatter.)

I absolutely loved this video! Thank you for defending Monty and clearing his name
To be fully honest, for a long time I did think Monty was the killer. It took my friend (who is a big fan of Monty and hyperfixated on them for sevral weeks) to point out a lot of things for me to realize that.. yeah, it likely wasn’t him.
A few things that I want to bring up, these are all of the things that they brought up to me.
Here’s some additional evidence pointing away from Monty being the killer
1: Despite what we see in the Monty golf mini game, Monty did not make it. This should seem obvious, let me explain why I bring this up: I know that we see Monty galavanting around the stage while Freddy is in the trash (literally), however, this is quiet possibly NOT Monty’s true feelings. He didn’t code this game, or make the sprites, if anything this probably shows that fazbear ent Thinks that Monty could replace Freddy due to how quickly he took off. This blends into my next point, bear with me lmao
2: Monty dosnt seem to like the limelight much. He will run away from shows, and then destroy fences, his green room and other objects after he’s forced into them (note: there are no reports to my knowledge of him having real aggression against any animatronics, not even staff bots), AND, cameras are also banned in Monty golf, implying that he hates having his picture taken. So why would he kill for a position in the band that he wouldn’t even want or enjoy? If he had some beef with Bonnie, that would have been mentioned somewhere, same goes if he had issues with Freddy, it would have been mentioned somewhere, Fazbear ent reports on EVERYTHING, I can’t imagine that they wouldn’t file a report on Monty cussing Bonnie out at 2:17 pm on a Monday.
3: Monty dosnt attack with his claws. Ever. He only destroys fences with his claws, when he attacks the player, he only bites at them, this is applicable to ALL of his forms. And this makes sense BECAUSE HES A GATOR.
The scratch marks on Bonnie’s casing are claw marks, bite marks would look very different. Another note relating to his claws, They would be way too dull and short to do THAT kind of damage to another animatronic… even if he did have them at the time of the murder.
Sorry for my rambles lmao, this was a great video and I loved your theory about how Bonnie really died!

you're the first person I've seen point out the arcade can't be definitive proof that what we see is Monty's true feelings! In reality, I've used that (and the Gator Golf dark ride) to argue that Monty and Freddy DON'T hate each other, and it's just Fazbear Ent pushing a narrative to make money!
To sum it up, Monty and Freddy are just awkward with each other in their grief over Bonnie's disappearance, and Fazbear Ent uses that to make Monty stand out in the band and promote a "rivalry" between the two. Freddy does consider Monty a friend to an extent, but I think he doesn't know what to do with this new kid with Bonnie's stuff. And Monty sees that as Freddy being reluctant to fully accept him into the band.
With the theory in this video and the inclusion of the dark ride from Ruin, it seems Monty was just unluckily set up to take the fall for everything!

Come to think of it... What if this situation is even WORSE? Freddy tells Vannesa that his voice is the default voice for a Faz-Watch, his voice is very prominent, one could have landed on the garbage for the Mimic to find and learn. If what Monty's ride WAS telling the truth, he does admire Bonnie a lot. So picture this: one night, Bonnie gets lured out of his room by Freddy's voice, which Monty hears but doesn't do anything about. Bonnie gets attacked by the Mimic. Bonnie slooooowly heads to the East arcade to call for the help of the DJ's security protocol, but the Mimic attacks him again and drags him to Monty golf. The Mimic know the building's layout and knows to take Bonnie from the catwalk to Roxy Raceway to Bonnie Bowl without being seen and hides the body, maybe takes something from him to upgrade itself. Next day, Monty realizes Bonnie is gone, probably finds traces of him at the catwalk and he gets hugely mad because he heard Freddy's voice that night, so called "best friend" of him probably just wanted the spotlight, but there's no way he did it. So Monty doesn't want to be part of the show with Freddy, he'd rather go to the catwalk and search for days which way the killer went with Bonnie's body.

  • @G12G4
    @G12G4 9 месяцев назад +53

You're missing a few key points but you're definitely on to something. First, the left side of Bonnie's head is smashed in and his right cheek shows impact damage as well as whisker breaking that ends at the point of the impact damage. The right side of his mouth also shows it. His right ear is fully broken off. That means the first strike was almost certainly with the bowling ball, knocking his head into a wall.
But it gets more interesting! Did you notice the drag marks on the floor in front of the bowling ball rack? They lead right to the Drop Cloth Bonnie's been laid out on. Yeah, that's a drop cloth he's been dragged to and laid out on. Where we find him is probably not the scene of the murder, but close to it and the presence of the cloth indicates a degree of premeditation.
    But why?
Well, look at the gash in his chest. Being swiped by claws should cause it to buckle inward. But it's not, it's bowing outward like something either exploded out of him or was pulled out of him possibly by a metal hand or a crowbar. But there's nothing in the hole. It looks like something was torn out of him. Looking around him, it looks like a few things were taken out of him. There is oil all over that drop cloth and parts consistent with hydraulics and Bonnie bits all around him. And you know what else is green? Polyurea grease. A grease commonly used in automotives. And it's just the right shade of green too. And then there's green hydraulic fluid, also the same shade. Neither match Monty at all. We also see two greasy non-clawed fingerprints on his chassis.
Bonnie wasn't just murdered, he was systematically taken apart by someone who took their time doing it and then they ripped a hole in him and took out whatever was in his chest. So, it honestly could have been Vanny, I imagine she can swing a bowling ball and it doesn't take as much force as you would think to shatter one, especially against the cranium of a machine. Plus, she's weaker and would have to drag him to the drop cloth.
Not saying it's not the Mimic, just that I think Vanny may have been discounted too early. Not sure the Mimic was a drop cloth guy. And you know, the purple bowling ball may have a deeper meaning...

I enjoy this explanation, and raise you this: Monty was forced to do it, which is why he's so angry all the time. The catwalks is a major ease of access area for all parties involved. I believe that Vanessa waited until the two were hanging out on catwalks, which is why monty stays on catwalks, that's the last place he saw bonnie before a memory wipe of the resulting events, which is why Bonnie's plush is found in Gator Golf near the catwalks. Vanessa then led them to Bonnie Bowl via maintenance, where the death happened, and why Monty's plush is there. Any cameras were wiped, of course. Vanessa had monty rip him limb from limb after the bowling ball bash so he couldn't fight back, she then had his chest cavity torn open by monty, even with no claws, I'm sure a bowling ball blow you provide good enough handles to rip. Vanessa then took what I would assume to be Bonnie's unique piece (Such as the claws, voicebox, or eyes). As for the reason? I guess we don't know. Is this all speculation? yes, but a fun little story you can fill in

Something was ripped out of Bonnie's chest? Well, there are only three things we know of that the Glamrock animatronics store in their chests. Large cakes, oversized pinatas, and children. It sounds to me like Bonnie was trying to protect a child and his attacker physically ripped them out of his chassis. That raises the implications when it comes to motive. Vanny would certainly have motive, but her ability to take down an animatronic is questionable, UNLESS they are unable to see her when she's wearing the mask, which would allow her to be able to surprise Bonnie.

Some things to add to the discussion, originally Vanny’s disassemble Freddy button was meant to work on his band mates. While this is a scraped concept, steel wool proved they’re willing to reuse scraped ideas with Shattered Freddy vs prototype Freddy. Vanny could have ordered Monty to disassemble Bonnie.
Why? Because behind Bonnie’s stage is vent that leads directly to Vanny’s room above Fazerblast-and most importantly- the third princess quest minigame. Glitchtrap’s one major weakness is in Bonnie’s room. We know from the messages that some employees were trying to “free the princess,” and were looking for the third game. If Bonnie was in the arcade for hours, is it possible he was looking for the second princess quest minigame? The first is in Roxy’s salon, so it’s very plausible Bonnie knew about that one. Roxy might have even told him. The second quest game is in the back of the East arcade. If he was playing the second quest game, it would explain why he was there for hours. if Bonnie had the third game in his room, Vanny would likely be freaking out. She has every reason to get rid of him. Even if that’s not what Bonnie was doing, Vanny likely wouldn’t take any chances. Glitchtrap needs those princess quest games on lock down, so that’s what Vanny did. She took possession of the third game.
Some other Vanny evidence includes a mask that keeps animatronics from seeing you (making it possible for her to push Bonnie off the catwalks or bash his head with a bowling ball). The faulty Last seen report that lies about where Bonnie died (someone with high clearance would be needed to cover this is). The fact that if Gregory could cause shattered damage as a tiny child, Vanny would be capable of shattering Bonnie. She’d also have the means and intelligence to cover up the crime.

The more I read into this, the more it looks like Bonnie actually did care about Monty, and even stepped off the stage willingly because he knew the shady past his character had. He'd encouraged Monty to take the role, and became the bowling attendant, much like sun was the daycare attendant.
When Bonnie disappeared, Monty took it really hard. He hated that management wanted him to replace his friend. He hated that they took this an excuse to call it a loss, that they didn't even try to look for Bonnie. He hated that Fazbear entertainment disregarded the person he cared about. He was proud to be the bassist because Bonnie MADE him the bassist. But he owed everything to Bonnie, and Fazbear entertainment ripped it all away from him.
I'll make it worse for you. He actively lashed out, breaking stage props and refusing to show up for shows because he was in active protest against losing his friend. And if Fazbear entertainment had gone looking for him, and done even basic repairs.. if they brought his friend back, Monty would've calmed down. His entire character arc is a robot in grief lashing out at the world for taking it's only solace.
Bonnie goes to Rockstar row. Likely talks to Monty, or is cleaning the place out. Goes to Monty golf, where he lets Monty know that he wants him to take over as a member of the band/has the room all ready. Then he returns to the bowling alley.
Why the wet floor signs? Maybe it was management discovering what happened. Maybe it was the virus/mimic's influence, obfuscating the truth. All that we do know is that *someone* found him, and left him there. Perhaps, even, the wet floor signs were used to prevent Bonnie from rebooting into (or out of?) safe mode, keeping him locked there. Freed only when Cassie shut them down.

Not only that but that’s clearly his murder scene with the broken bowling ball next to his head being the clear murder weapon. Actually, if the weapon was the bowling ball then the tearing of his stomach would be a mute point and just done to frame him or maybe try to harvest a certain part in his chest.

The idea that Monty used the rug to drag him to Bonnie Bowl (how did he do it without losing any of Bonnies parts lol, the guys arms were clearly cleanly dismembered) is pretty interesting. But what would you make of the dent in the wall where Bonnie's corpse is? Did he wake and stand up and Monty bashed his head in? How does the bowling ball play into this? Why would Monty have had a bowling ball? Why would Bonnie have brought one?
Again, all the arguments are pretty interesting. While I personally think that Steel Wool was trying to leave the case up for interpretation to an extent and just did it badly/well(?) enough that now 2 sides are in near-constant argument about it (though this comment section has been very nice about it so far, which is nice to see), the arguments brought up are very interesting and usually pretty well thought out.

The Mimic killing him I didn’t even consider but since they did decided to put this Bonnie secret and Mimic’s debut together in the same game makes more sense.
Also helps confirm another theory I have that after SB, Glamrock Freddy got a new body from an old prototype but eventually got attacked by the Mimic as well. Since his prototype body got beheaded (the Mimic’s usual MO) and torn up at the chest (similar Bonnie). Putting together it learned how to kill animatronics after Bonnie, and that going for the limbs doesn’t kill them, going for their chest and head does.

  • @Pixiemage

While I don't think Monty CHOSE to take out Bonnie of his own accord, the evidence Steel Wool has been leaving for us to find still implies that he had some involvement, even if that involvement may have been under Vanny's control or something similar. (I can't imagine that Gregory's adventure at the Pizzaplex was the first time the animatronics were under her control, especially with how many children have already gone missing in that newspaper during the ending where Gregory escapes and sleeps in the alley.) The injury on Bonnie's chest was made by something with three fingers/claws, not four, which eliminates the Mimic and the Daycare Attendant (as well as the Staff Bots) fairly quickly and leans towards one of the core animatronics. Details are sprinkled throughout the first game to lead us in the direction of Monty, most of which you've already mentioned here - Bonnie being last seen in Monty Golf, Monty's penchant for aggression (both before and after his upgrade, though WITH the upgrade he can obviously do far more damage) - and while I agree that Monty not getting his claw upgrade until after Bonnie was gone is a hell of a wrinkle, I'm more inclined to believe that as being a mistake on Steel Wool's part rather than proof that he didn't do it.
(Goodness knows it wouldn't be the only inconsistency in the game, for as much as I love it to pieces lol.)
I'm also more inclined to believe that Steel Wool was trying to nudge us in Monty's direction with the added details we see at the Bonnie crime scene. Like you said, there was green paint lining his main injury, and while on a physical/real world level something like that would absolutely have caused Monty as much paint damage as Bonnie, I also know that Steel Wool is a big fan of environmental storytelling. They like to create details in the world around the player to tell them more about what's been going on, whether that's in messages we pick up, item descriptions, or metal footprints denting in doors in certain areas in Ruin. (Or like how Chica is covered in a yellow-green gooey substance, and with a little thought process we can assume it's cheese because she's prone to eating trash and pizza and her mechanisms (and time) would have caused it to melt and mold.) Leaving a tinge of green on the claw marks on Bonnie is a very pointed design choice that only adds to the evidence against poor Monty...and the rectangle of carpet Bonnie is lying on in that back room is one more, and equally damning.
When we find him, Bonnie is lying on his back on top of a blue-gray carpet patterned with confetti, in small specks and small spirals. That specific carpet is only seen in two areas of the Security Breach building that I've been able to find: the Fazcade/Music Man area (which isn't really relevant to us here), and Monty Golf. It's a specific and pointed choice that I wouldn't have even noticed if I hadn't seen a comment mentioning it below this video. It's almost like someone used it to drag him to the back room of Bonnie Bowl so nobody would figure out where he was, or where he'd been. (And really, very few of the animatronics would've been strong enough to do that, so - again - it had to be one of the core four.)
We do know Monty looked up to Bonnie. We know he idolized him, or at least was a fan, if the story Fazbear Ent. is telling is true. (Which I like to believe it is.) And it only makes sense that, when Bonnie went missing, Monty of COURSE would have been upset by that and would've felt guilty for taking his role in the Glamrock band when that wasn't what he wanted at all. (Insert Monty memo about him avoiding shows and hiding in the catwalks here.) I imagine that feeling would've only been worse if it turned out someone had made him get rid of his favorite band member himself, wouldn't it? :(
(As for the Mimic, there's also the dialogue from Gregory about the Mimic saying "I really don't know what it is, but it's been trapped down here a really long time" implying that it wasn't able to get out prior to Gregory finding it. Whether he (and whoever else was with him) had to create M.X.E.S. because the "earthquake" managed to free the Mimic during the aftermath of Security Breach, or whether it was already trapped down there and Gregory just stumbled across it (which is a little less likely but still possible), it still points to the Mimic having been trapped and unable to leave for years before Gregory found it and before Bonnie even disappeared. I'm also not sure if the Mimic was even an in-game concept yet when Security Breach was originally in the making, so laying out the groundwork for THAT to be Bonnie's killer so early on seems more than a little unlikely...but I could be wrong at least on this point, and the Mimic could've already been a future plan. Who's to say?)
This isn't me wanting to paint Monty as a villain, I promise! I love him to bits, and his angry puppy dog vibes gave me so much joy during Ruin lol. But I feel like the evidence we've been given by Steel Wool points us in a specific direction, and since the way they approach their secret reveals differs slightly from how Scott has done so in the past, I'm inclined to believe the story they're trying to tell us here. You're not wrong, Monty WILLFULLY attacking Bonnie is unlikely. But unwillingly? Controlled by Vanny the way she controlled him during Security Breach? That's something I'd believe.

In Montygolf, there is the one hole where we see Freddy in the Dumpster, and in Ruin, we see that Bonnie and Freddy had a very special relationship-even the opposite ear piercings! Perhaps a stretch, since the design is so different, but also I could absolutely see Fazcorp employees being scatterbrained enough to literally never take a good look at it, as long as it behaved *like* the endos. It's a great theory and its very plausible. But the only thing I disagree with is how Bonnie could have gotten back to the room behind Bonnie Bowl. If you look closely under him, there is a piece of carpet that is from where you would usualy enter Monty Golf from the elevator. That tells me that the carpet was taken with him. As for the green on him, maybe thats some form of oil that spilled onto the carpet below as it looks poured on rather than something scraped away to reveal what's underneath, promting its removal with Bonnie. Maybe Fazbear found him in Monty Golf and removed him but seeing the state of his casing, knew they couldn't repair him and therefore hid him away? And perhaps the Mimic found him to finish the job after that? Brillaint theory regardless! ❤

That is a REALLY great point about the carpet, I never would have noticed that!!! It really does feel like examining a crime scene. The reason that I fixated so much on the "green paint" portion in the video was because I heard people like Dawko going "Oh it's green and green = Monty so Monty did it" which I wanted to nip in the bud right away.
Again, even in the base game it really wasn't clear how Bonnie could just DISAPPEAR in Monty Golf and not be picked up on the cameras, but hey I'm not the one that wrote that memo hahaha. If the staff did find him though, then I have no idea why they didn't just haul Bonnie off to Parts and Services at the very least to scrap him down, because they had every intention to continue using that bowling alley...

From what i remember, there WERE plans to repair Bonnie, with Monty being his temporary replacement, except Monty's popularity was high enough they scrapped that plan.
While i disagree with the "Prototype Freddy = SB Freddy" personally...
I COULD see Bonnie's corpse simply being reused for what became Glamrock Hippo in one of the Endings.

The only other time he does this (and this one is a theory of mine of what goes down after SB and before Ruin) is against Glamrock Freddy after he gains a new body from an old prototype, his body was beheaded (which fits Mimic’s MO) and his chest was torn up.

I said mostly all this and it was maybe even roxy in another video that just used random evidence that went against their own claims just to say it was Monty still even though the dlc points us to the direction of Monty liking Roxy and Bonnie and having no reason to kill him.
I also think if it were Monty it wouldn't be as neatly laid out like that, seems like a mimic thing to do.
Imagine if mimic lures Bonnie on the cat walks pretending to want advice then boom, pushes him off damaging his legs then dragging him to bowling to finish him in or chase him there hence why it maybe took him a long time.

if Bonnie was replaced because he was broken, why not just get another endo skeleton, dress him up to look like him and just do that? since Bonnie has a greenroom at the bowling area, means he was demoted to it and was replaced by Monty. maybe Bonnie was the least popular in the group, so the company wanted something more eye-catching, like a certain gator.
the greenroom has tools and robot parts laying around, even moss covering some of them from the sewer bots. so it's likely that Bonnie had some involvement in repairing robots. maybe the floor carpet had a robot put there to be fixed, since there's different parts laying over it. but it had to be hidden out of sight because it was never meant for others to know about. when having a closer look at all the damages over Bonnie's body, his legs have damages, so someone must have him them hard to lose his balance and hit the wall with his chest, before falling over on his back before having his head smashed by the bowling ball.

one of the details the game shows is that the endos AI have to be extensively trained. its not as easy as just getting an endo and placing a spare bonnie casing (suit?) on it. thats how they go from being just a stiff robot to a fully fluid and dynamic character like the glamrocks. and one of the logs you collect in the base game explains that. the damage done to bonnie was too extensive for immediate repairs and was on such short notice that they needed an immediate replacement before the next show. so they simply took monty from his attraction and upgraded his claws to enable him to play the guitar.

    • @zenith9825
      @zenith9825 10 месяцев назад +2

If we are thinking along these lines, does that mean that Bonnie was retired from the main band to the role of side attraction in Bonnie Bowl? I was always so lost as to why the bassist of the band would have his own small stage in his attraction. Roxy, Chica, and Freddy don't have a stage either (I think).
Monty, interestingly, does! He was the presumed One Man Jug Band. He was the side attraction before he became a bassist and a replacement for Bonnie.
In other words, was Bonnie always a bassist before his decommissioning? I was thinking about this with friends, and one thing that I was thinking about is the possibility that Bonnie was either forced to downgrade to the small stage OR he *willingly* retired from the band. If that's the case, then the band would have been out of a bassist for enough time for an entirely separate Bonnie to be a side attraction.
Monty only became a bassist after Bonnie's decommission due to claws being needed. Monty's aggression was also seemingly sparked by these claws too.
The timeline is so hard for me to construct because we don't have enough information yet. Here is my attempt at a potential one, though:
      1. Bonnie was the bassist in the band.
      2. At this time, Monty was a side attraction in Monty Golf. This is supported by Monty Golf having a stage. He would have been the One Man Jug Band (fun thing to say btw). Whether or not Monty's backstory is completely true from his gondola ride, he must have had *some* role in the Pizzaplex before joining the band. He had to exist in the Pizzaplex alongside Bonnie due to being Bonnie's *replacement*. You don't replace something with an entirely new character from scratch if you would want the original anyway.
(3.) If we believe the environmental storytelling, Monty actually did look up to Bonnie. Monty has only been shown to dislike Freddy. Is it jealousy? I don't know. The point is that everything was pointing to Monty hating Freddy, not Bonnie.
      4. Assuming that Bonnie's separate greenroom and stage in Bonnie Bowl means anything, then this means Bonnie was retired from the band. (This is where true speculation comes in from your comment) This was either done by force or peacefully. Bonnie could have been cast out of the band by management or even by bullying. Why? No clue. Again, we don't have enough info. However, he could have simply given up his role as bassist. If this is the case, then Monty's ride backstory is actually still somewhat accurate. Bonnie *retired* to Bonnie Bowl. Again, he has a small stage and an entirely separate "greenroom." His "greenroom" isn't in Rockstar Row--it is in Bonnie Bowl. Sure, he *may* have had one while being a bassist, but he is no longer in the band. He was given a small, private room in his attraction away from the "main band."
      5. If this is true, then the band was only three members at one point. They were down a bassist, and Monty couldn't have been a replacement since he was given he claws *after* Bonnie was destroyed.
      6. This leads to my final chain of events: Bonnie was a bassist -> Monty was a side attraction -> (Potentially) Bonnie was removed from the band -> (Potential) Bonnie was given a small stage area for his demotion/retirement to Bonnie Bowl -> Bonnie was decommissioned -> Monty received his claws -> Monty becomes the new bassist, replacing Bonnie's room in Rockstar Row alongside joining the band.

What if Monty was framed for Killing Bonnie but it was the mimic using spare parts for Monty as a sort of suit similar to how William Afton wore the Springtrap Suit! Or, why would he remind himself of it, *unless* he was mourning Bonnie rather than relishing in his pride at accomplishing something like that?

So the main suspect is definitely the Mimic, but who exactly did the crime is yet a question. It could be Vanny using staff bots or Prototype Freddy (if it’s different from our Freddy), but in order to help the Mimic.
And I really love the idea that Bonnie was onto something - either protecting the child or maybe he found out something he shouldn’t had discover.

Monty likely knows just as much about what happened to Bonnie as anyone else, and given the look of the crime scene while there’s evidence to point towards him, it’s flimsy. Vanny could have done it with her possessed staff bots like she does to Freddy in some endings, or it could’ve been the Mimic like the video suggests. I don't think Monty did it either. A lot of the points you mention line up for his innocence but also, in Ruin that stack of Monty merch at the legs of where his statue was have two very important additions. 1) The Bass he inherited from Bonnie is lovingly placed there. He breaks ton's of furniture in his green room so why keep the bass safe? 2)Monty's own legs are placed on top of the pile on the head of a Monty ride car, they look like rabbit ears. I think Monty genuinely idolized Bonnie and couldn't get any actual merch to make a tribute to him so he did the next best thing.
Also, it's possible the security logs of Bonnie's activities before going missing are just lies Vanny / Glitchtrap had Vanessa write. Bonnie "died" in the bowling alley. If he was hurt why not retreat to parts and service? Also, there's a tarp under his body for some reason. I think Vanny had an animatronic destroy Bonnie so she could take some of his parts for Burntrap. It's possible that the animatronic IS the mimic, but idk.

I do wanna ask a few questions:
    1. Why would Monty not have claws like Freddy's and Roxy's even before the incident? They don't have to be the upgraded ones, just normal claws like I mentioned.
    2. I'll be honest, I'm still confused about the part where you said Bonnie's undercoat was green. It.. doesn't exactly makes sense to me, per say? He doesn't have green on his suit otherwise.
    3. I thought that Monty not going to the show is because he's fiesty and just wants to be the main guy, not because he directly wants attention. Just to be the important one. My point on this one is that he's not exactly like Roxy in that regard. Couldn't it have been something like that?
    4. I know you didn't include it but I saw someone mention how Fazbear Ent. made Monty's arcade machine (in base game) show Freddy in the trash. In other words Fazbear Ent. is the one making him look bad. Which to that I have to say it would contradict with the ride AND in the past mini games have been used for lore, so they don't need to appeal to the canon surroundings, just show canon lore.
    5. Where would Mimic be? He would be underground where the Blob was if anything, or even the trash area where we get Chica's voice box in the base game. But anywhere else would just be very confusing as that would imply no one noticed an Endoskeleton out in the open for a long time, which just doesn't sit right with me.
I know I went on a bit of a rant with my questions but if I or anyone else really wants to judge it fairly, I want all my facts and theories checked.

    • @askerror1987
      @askerror1987  10 месяцев назад +15

No no, very good points. I’ll see if I can tackle some of them
      1) I have no idea lol and that is a good point. But that’s also where the whole “paint” thing came up, see my comment on that below
      2) The reason I included it in the video was bc I saw people like Dawko taking it at face value that because there was green on his chest, that meant it had to be Monty. If I could redo one thing about the video it would be that that green is more likely to be grime or dirt because it matches closely to the coloring in the cracks on his arms and other parts of the body
      3) That is one that could definitely be up to interpretation. I do see your point on that but the main thing is that if he wanted to be on the band that bad why would he start skipping performances (then again Monty isn’t very intelligent)
      4) I didn’t really catch that! Part of the reason I wasn’t able to include some things is because I don’t own the game so my knowledge is limited to the footage I can watch from other people. But yes that does correlate directly with what we’ve seen where Monty does not seem to like Freddy very much. I don’t know why Management thinks it’s a good idea to egg on that rivalry though
      5) I think that Mimic only got trapped in between SB and Ruin. He’d be able to navigate the Pizzaplex using spare suits, like Tiger Rock in the books’ case, or (and this is much weaker haha) he just got really good at hiding and navigating through things like the vents. I don’t think Mimic is AS likely to do that last one because he only seems intelligent to an extent

The network looks like something that Gregory set up to keep the mimic trapped after the Pizzaplex collapsed.
And Mimic seems to have been there for a long time.
People used to think that Bonny was used to build Burntrap, but now we know it isn't true.
So the newest theory I've seen is as follows: The villain of part one was the Afton virus, controlling the animatronics and making them go mad - and the mimic got pulled into it too - it was the mimic's body that served as the skeleton for Burntrap, and if we didn't stop him, the mimic would 'learn' to be a new Afton.
Perhaps it got freed by the construction crew, and killed Bonny before the virus could force it to join.
Now that Afton virus is dead (as shown by the princess quest sword stuck through an arcade game) mimic is back to its own devices - which is extreme violence it has learned from interacting with people. Gregory and Vanny seem to have locked it in the place it was initially buried in - but had to use one of the communicators to lure it in with their voices.
And now the mimic not only knows Gregory's voice,, but it has also learned from the Afton virus, enough to interface with Helpy's network, and get control of a single security bot - enough to deliver the mask to Cassie.
(Did you notice that the bot who delivers the mask looks like it has rabbit ears, but it's actually its head casing flayed upwards?)

If it was the normal claws, then most of the Glamrock animatronics could've been responsible for what happened to Bonnie.

I totally agree! Thank you omg. I originally posted this on one of Dawko’s videos, and I’ll share it here; “I think the Mimic unalived Bonnie, not Monty. Bonnie was completely disarticulated, just like how the Mimic was programmed to take apart animatronics (and eventually humans). The Mimic also has sharp claws on its left hand and could’ve caused the claw marks.”

Personally, I got really mad when people jumped right to the conclusion of the story being a cover up. They didn’t even considering other options.
    I love your theory 💚

I mean, it still is a cover up, no matter how you look at it, covers up what actually happened to him. Even if, I don't know, some random dude broke in and killed bonnie, it wouldn't change the story they made to cover

The way you described the story you think happened was a great touch. I couod see the aggression the mimic had and the pain Bonnie felt

I've been watching everyone talk about this. You did good unlike the guy i just watched, who just said that vanny killed bonnie with a bowling ball and spray painted some green around the hole in his chest, without any evidence. So i'm glad you actually had some evidence around this.

yea, but here's the thing, around the huge scratches on the chest is green, but there is no way it would be black instead of green. look at his claws, they are way too small to leave that amount of paint left behind, and i think that monty would have had the upgraded claws before the destroying of bonnie , because in the ride showing the "backstory" of the "retirement" of bonnie monty also has an instrument that would look like it needs sharper claws to play. i don't know which side i'm on, both sides seem to have good evidence
Edit: i have more proof that monty did it, if you look at the part of the ride that monty is rocking out with that whirlwind coming out of his guitar, you can see bonnie flying away because of monty

      @askerror1987  10 месяцев назад +9

I intentionally chose not to talk about the ride bc most people who are for the "Monty Did It" theory dismiss it completely as misinformation. And yes I do agree with you, there's no way that ANY paint could have transferred from the claws to the chest because most of the animatronics' claws are so little. At best some of the paint primer would have chipped off and left little black flakes on Bonnie

@askerror1987 Plus, there's the fact that they only gave monty claws so that he could play the bass -better-, not so he could play at all. Bonnie doesn't even have claws to begin with. I do agree that it was the mimic tho given the fact that bonnie is dismembered (also who takes a green chest plate and paints it red? Judging by the rest of the animatronics the suit parts are just one solid color all the way through)

I mean I'm a bit sceptical on this but... my theory was that monty and bonnie were on the cat walks, chillin', talking idk. But bonnie says generally something to anger monty and out of rage he thinks before he acts aaaand pushes bonnie of leaving a bit of a scratch and paint from the ground. Monty got scared and went to check on bonnie. His torso was severed from his legs as you you can see on his model. Monty being scared people would think it was him that killed bonnie, grabbed him and put him on the ground against the wall. Then he grabbed a bowling ball and broke it into pieces. He put the broken bowling ball to his head and punched the wall so it looked like an accident.

I don't know if it adds or anybody else has commented already about this, cassie also stumbles by some section of the complex that works as an introduction for monty, how he went from a banjo player swamp aligator to a member of the gang, and the symbolic torch pass from bonnie handing his guitar to him, lore or not it shows how each member gave the welcome to Monty to become part of the main gang, not as an emergency replacement but as a business decision, most likely to foxy's case, despite being part of the gang he was relegated to his own section. is my belief that monty actually admired bonnie the most, now if that sticks or not with what the character distances themselves from the animatronics then I'm a bit lost already.
Wonderful work with the video. more love to the gator♥
