As of February 2024, Etsy changed the way their integration works with AWeber. To learn how to get the most out of using email to promote your Etsy shop check out this article: help.aweber.com/hc/en-us/articles/1260807174050-How-do-I-automatically-communicate-new-products-in-my-Etsy-shop

Any tips on adding 100% buyers and is there a resource on all we can take advantage off from the integration?

Dean Lodice asked if you need 2 Aweber accounts for 2 Etsy shops. Why wouldn't you be OK simply having 2 different Aweber Lists?

You can only connect one Etsy account per AWeber account. That's the way the current integration is set up. But this is good feedback we'll take back to our product team.

@@aweber Perhaps you can create a sub account attached to your primary account so that Etsy sees it as a separate entity. Just an idea

hey i want to conduct email marketing for an Etsy store. and i wish to set up flows that are triggered based off of the user/subscriber behavior. As in be able to track what product is he viewing or has added to cart. However, i found out that Etsy does not allow adding codes that allow web tracking onto their stores, so what is the other alternative you can suggest me?

Hi Hafsa! Unfortunately, Etsy does allow you to track subscribers' activity in Etsy, so there would not be a way to trigger AWeber messages based on that activity.
Our Etsy integration allows you to add Etsy buyers to your AWeber email list after they make a purchase. It also allows you to tag subscribers when they make a purchase. You can use that tag to kick off an automated email campaign (or flow) to perhaps suggest additional products they might be interested in.
Additionally, you can track what links your subscribers are clicking on from the emails you send, and tag them based on those clicks. That can give you an idea of the products they're interested in. Then you can kick off automated campaigns (or flows) to potentially sell them on the value of that product, or perhaps suggest other relevant products.
