    Thank you so much for explaining how to use Aweber for my etsy shop. I did not know that I could integrate Aweber into my etsy shop. You saved me so much time and less frustration. I hope to see more content from you in the future.

    Thank you so much for this helpful video! Could you clarify this one thing for me: In the last minute or two of the video you mention that if the customer does NOT click the confirm subscription button, that after 30 days Aweber will automatically add them. Do I have that right? If so how would a customer express they do not want to be added, and doesn't this go against US or UK privacy laws if they don't click confirm and are added anyway? Thank you in advance!

      Quick update, AWeber will remove the subscriber from your list automatically following 30 days if they have not confirmed.

    I'm using a 20% off coupon to encourage people to subscribe. Where do i List this information?

    Hi Frankie...
    Great video!! Can you add a special coupon code or other incentive to entice people to sign up since AWeber is integrated with Etsy?
    Gloria

      I would really like to know the answer to this as well. I wan to offer and incentive before they checkout. That way I do not have to do refunds.

      Yes you can create a landing page for people to join your email list and set your landing page to immediately send a coupon or freebie of your choice to the subscriber so that they can apply to their order. The landing page comes with a special URL that allows you to post in your shop announcements and your listing description.

    Hello Frankie, Thank you for the video. My question is if the customer never confirms the subscription and after 30 days Awaber adds them automatically, do you email them anyway? or eliminate them?

    • @hellofrankieandco
      @hellofrankieandco  2 года назад +1

      Hey Makarla, AWeber has since changed this. After 30 days, they will automatically be deleted if unconfirmed. If the subscriber decides they want to confirm after that 30 days, the system will not allow them and they would have to resubscribe to be apart of your list.

    Hi Frankie, thank you for this informative video. I 'm trying to figure out how can I customize the message the customers will see after they purchase ( not the double opt-in message). Is this option even available? Thanks.

    • @hellofrankieandco
      @hellofrankieandco  4 года назад

      I'm glad you found this video useful. To edit/customize your message you will go to MANAGE LISTS - Then you will choose your list (you likely have only one) - On the left click on the third option CONFIRMATION MESSAGES - Scroll to the bottom and click EDIT MESSAGE CONTENT

      @@hellofrankieandco Thank you very much for your reply, that was helpful. But If a potential customer signs up for a coupon code and they become subscribers, will they also receive the confirmation code after they purchase, is there a rule in Aweber (paid plan) to prevent that. I contacted their support but their reply wasn't really helpful. Thank you very much!

    Double opt-in vs single opt-in, which is better in your opinion?

    • @hellofrankieandco
      @hellofrankieandco  4 года назад +1

      Hi Sarah, I prefer a double opt-in because the subscriber receives a confirmation email where they must click to confirm that they want to subscribe before being added to the list.

    What do you put for your email signature? Do you put your logo or a picture of yourself?

    • @hellofrankieandco
      @hellofrankieandco  Год назад +1

      It depends, for my product-based business I use my logo because that closely represents my brand. For Hello Frankie, I use my picture because I started out as a service-based business.
      The other way you can look at it is, if it’s your direct email - such as frankie@hellofrankieandco.com - I would say use a picture of yourself. If it’s your general inbox - example hello@hellofrankieandco.com - I would use a logo.
      There is no right or wrong way with this. Ultimately, I suggest to go with what feels good to you. ☺️
