even if it was for the friend (Lucid) i still found it upsetting especially with the “the perfect image” “almost too perfect” that’s when i realised that they were in a dream, and the clock it’s like they wanted to go back to simpler times, and when it was in the work setting i assume it was an old friend? in the ‘end credits’ it showed all their old photos and memories together and i found it upsetting 😭🙏

Played the game, it is pretty nice, but as author mentioned, it makes not much sence, unless you are a person, who it is about. It was made for someone on their birthday, he's the one, who gets what's going on.

@@FunnyCraftSheep the game's ending was so confusing tbh or even the game itself- does it have any deeper meaning than whats on the surface? a supposed dream of the past (clock somewhat also eludes to it being a dream besides the text itself saying so), probably something like omori's memorylane ; then you end up in an office (real world now?) 10 years later and get a phone call from a friend.. then credits seem to be the memorybook itself. is that really it?
Oh. Lucid's a real person. Iiii dunno how I didn't figure.
If I had to guess... The clock shows that Lucid feels stuck in the past and wants to go back to that time with her friends. When she leaves, it's hard 'cause she doesn't want to. She doesn't want to leave her friends at all- but she has to 'cause you gotta go to work. Which, at some point, took her away from everyone. And it sucked. Later, in 2033, when she's crying on the phone- it's 'cause one of her friends rang her up. She missed them. A lot.
It feels weird analyzing a game meant for an IRL person- in some ways I feel like I really shouldn't. But... If I had to guess- and this is just a biiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiig guess. Lucid- the IRL person- is prolly going through a rough time... Hope everything's alright with her. Wherever or whoever she is.

The fact that I played this game now and lucid has been finding Ben since Ben is missing and a bunny plushie is in the corner the gift from Ben while when you keep spamming the go outside button the screen will become more redder and redder until the friends die

I'm Brazilian and I didn't have any difficulty understanding the game as a whole. In fact, I understood the game better after the credits. It's very Omori-like vibe, with Ben missing as Basil and Lucid creating a world with their friends in their own mind, but it's much more than that. The idea that Ben was missing in the dream world can be seen as a message for Lucid to wake up to reality and move forward, not just that he removed his friendship with her, which suggests that Ben is the creator of the game (though this conjecture may be mistaken). It's a game that speaks about the phases of friendship and much more. A group of friends is formed, but in the end, each goes their separate ways. And I don't see that as a negative thing. Everything good lasts long enough to become unforgettable. I'm not Lucid or anyone from her group of friends, but I could interpret more or less the message he wanted to convey to her.

I think the friends died because it says she regrets not making a photo album/book with her friends and when the friends die when you wake up from the dream I think it means that they can't contuine without the dream
(I am NOT good at explaining so if whatever I just said makes zero sense then yeah)

This game was nice, I just wish there was more to the end of the story.
Well I think the game is left openeded because Lucid is growing up. The person who this is about. Most likely they are about to enter a phase of life where they worry they will use there friends or its starting to happen. Think of the dream world the player is in as Lucid's mind, wishign to go back to those discord calls with friends, but now (What is seems like to assume is that Lucid is 18 or getting to that point), they are now thinking of things like jobs, college, and a future, but that would mean less time with the people she loves and hangs out with. Its heartbreaking yet there friends made the game for Lucid to help sort of show (Atleast I assume this) that no matter what happens, they will not fall apart or leave as we see in 2033 (When they would assumingly have a job) they get a call from an old friend.

Ok I was like "wtf did I just watch" and the only thing I understand is that this kid had a birthday then she invites almost everyone to her party but everytime she interact with the door the screen becoming red for no reason and when she wakes up its already 2033 and she got a call from someone idk but I think I'm too lazy reading all of the text in the vid cuz it's look so small af ngl.
And kinda weird how is this even psychological horror since all it shows is just some red scary ahh~ screens and a oof sound? ok I might misheard that but whatever it is I can't tell if this is supposed to be psychological horror or it's just some kind of comedy horror at this point

@@comtialquill8136Yeah but in any case, it’s not really psychological horror. I’m not getting scared by the screen turning red and the whole gaming being “all in your head”. Suspenseful, maybe in regards to it being a story about growing up? But it’s not horror by any means.

Had to watch this video because the game couldn't stop bugging. Everytime a bug happened i had to leave the game and start from the beginning. The interactions didn't work, the texts didn't appearI understood NOTHING bout the story and i know there's nothing to understand in the game. Only "horror" i could experience was that they flashed red in the screen and spammed random noises when you tried to leave the house.
