Beginning a needle felt peacock...Tutorial how to start a peacock using wool, a clay beak and glass eyes. The goal is to create a realistic looking Peacock.
Felt from natural fibers like wool is considered to be the oldest known textile.
Using barbed needles the end product is produced by matting, condensing and pressing fibers together. I like to needle felt birds, there are so many different species, and they are very colorful.
