Oris: How we restored a Williams F1 watch (2022)

- More than 15 years ago, Claude’s wife gave him a Williams F1 Team Skeleton Engine Date.
Claude had worn and loved his watch. But it was time for a pitstop.
He returned it to our Hölstein factory where our experienced watchmakers restored it to its former glory. Now it’s back in pole position - on his wrist.

Spectacular video, now I love my Oris Aquis GMT even more. I noticed in the video that most of the parts particularly the main spring still looked great after 15 years. Oris is probably the most underrated but one of the best brand of Swiss Watches. "Go your own way ORIS"....

Great video. I have owned a Williams F1 with the blue carbon fiber dial for many years now. To this day, it still gets plenty of compliments. It has a few battle scars, but still is one of the favourites in my collection. I admire Oris for staying true to mechanical watches. Great brand integrity. The ProPilot X will be the next for me. I need a better skeleton in my collection.

I've been owning my artix date for over a decade now. It has gather a respectable amount of bruises and scratches over the year. A watch is made to be worn and I will definitely consider sending it back to its birthing ground in a few years to get it cared for !

Great video, Oris is a fantastic brand, I compare it to Saab for cars! I own one big crown pointer date and one diver65 Momotaro, I love those watches. Much more affordable than others and with a superb design.
