Very thorough overview of CSP 3.0's new features. There are not many videos this organized and thorough at this current time.
Thank you!
Thank you for exploring Version 3.0. This is over view of this much waited-for version should have been presented by CSP to launch the progam and not wait for a RUclipsr to present it. You've left them standing on this! I learned more from your tutorial such as, how to use the Posemaniacs and Pencil Sketch effect then I would by just digging around. Thank you for sharing.👍👍
I'm happy to help!
just found you, insta sub. tysm for all these csp videos ❤❤❤
Excellent - just bought a license upgrade! 🙌
Also, Ms., thank you for your CSP-mini-tutorials. I would be lost without them. 💖🦕
Thanks again. Solid clear explanations.
Thank you for overview! 🤗It was really helpful
Also I love that super cute art of the dragon with teddy-bear
Bought it the other day and relearning some stuff and saw this neat!
I do see people have negative opinions about this program and I do get it. Especially when I'm not a fan of the monthly pay thing also. But I do like how they're still supporting this program with new features that have been interesting so far. Being able to paste to selected layer for animation is my favorite one. And layer composition, which is something I never knew existed until I saw that Photoshop also did it. But to have it on here is sweet IMO.
I appreciate that they have options for both monthly subscriptions and buying it outright! I wish more programs offered that. There were some pretty good updates this time around. I do agree that layer comps are one of those things I never knew I needed, but now that I have them, I love them!
not the Wilhelm scream 😂
I couldn't resist. :D
Thank You, Sarrah! You and Sarajean Chung are *_great_* at explaining! The integration of PoseManiacs is a great move, but at the same time points out the limitations of CSP's internal models. They are just not accurate and detailed enough to support many poses. It's too bad Celsys can't partner with DAZ to incorporate *_their_* much more robust figures. (BTW: You can currently import DAZ models as FBX and still have access to the figure's joints.)
Also, I had been bugging Celsys for a handful of new Vector-related features, but I am just a whimper in the digital wilderness, I guess. ;)
Thanks for this video. Upgrading from version 2 to 3 isn’t really worth for me. Not enough features that can justify the spending. I guess I'll wait for versions 4 or 5 :D
Very fair! One of the reasons I like doing videos like this is so people can decide if the new features are worth it. :)
is the new version subscription? i remember there being some talks of the company trying to become subscription based
@@DimiArt They have an option for either a subscription or one-time purchase (called a perpetual license).
Thanks for the explanation, this is one of the best!! Would you mind explaining layer comps and normal maps at some point in the future?
I definitely plan to talk more about layer comps. Normal maps are a little further outside what most people are using CSP for, but I do want to cover them in more detail eventually. :)
@@MsRedNebulaArt Awesome, thank you so much! Your tutorials are so helpful! I was also surprised to see normal maps as a feature. As someone who is sort-of getting into 3D modeling/rigging (primarily for the purpose of creating posable references for drawing), I think it could be useful but also have no idea what it can really do since nodes scare me. 😅
@@rift-raftfiction1395 Don't let nodes put you off! Are you in Blender? There are a ton of great tutorials out there for building your own shaders/materials!
