I'm searching a different countif, which would count which cells satisfy a condition as "is equal to" a certain content in a fixed cell out of the interval. You can do that to change automatically format of cells (not to count them) in conditional formatting. But the same seems to me as impossible to get in countif.

I have a question. In column A I have date ranges and in column B I have numerical input. I would like to sum the numerical input week by week. Would the sumif function work for that? If so, how would I apply it?

i have a search term report -
this is one word - if the columns had multiple words, that's the part where i mess up. I'm trying to replace, lets say "*two words*" with G9's value that says "two words" - =COUNTIF($A$2:$A$4104,*G13*)
