Great review, this was probably the last Joe vehicle I bought from the original run and I have no idea what I did with it. There were indeed Monsters for the Mega Marines to fight, as well as a couple of special Vipers, too. The gimmick for this sub-team was Play-do that each figure came with and a mold to make armor over the figures which could be "battle damaged". One of the monsters even had a mold in his chest to make Play-do balls he could fling with a spring loaded arm. You could tell they were scraping at the bottom of the barrel at this point, but the Aliens influence is very evident.
When you said "you can pretend..." I was like "It's a collectable, is not like I'm gonna play with that..." then I realized... "who am I kidding?, If I had it again, I would give it a go right now".
I will have to get this one right here, since I have a bunch of the modern G.I. JOE action figures. Great review as well. I subbed to your channel. Keep those great reviews coming!
The weird thing about this is that it is built to carry far more figures than were ever actually released in the Mega Marines faction. Also, it's called the Monster Blaster because that particular sub line centered around larger scale Cobra monsters as the main enemies.
This was a decent 1990's G.I. Joe vehicle, which was made in 1993. Surprisingly, there were a few 1990's vehicles I liked out of the original vintage line. I guess the vehicles weren't neoned to death as much like the 1990's G.I. Joe figures were, which is why I liked the 1990's vehicles better than the figures.
i really dislike the missle firing gimmicks of later ARAH vehicles and figures, this vehicle would actually look cool as an open air transport vehicle if you just removes the cannon piece all together
The difference between GI JOE toys from the 80’s to 90’s...... nobody in the 80’s would make a vehicle that had shitty seating and you could see drivers face clearly 🤷♂️
I’m you sure about that bud? The rolling thunder had people swinging on literal chairs wide open. The vamp had no doors, the triple t was a over grown wheel chair that was wide open… do you want me to continue? 😂
Why dose everyone who sees a "hand grip" (something designed into it so Joes can hold on and be less likely to fall off) as "Joyesticks" (a device for controlling something else) they are just hand grips.

Although I'm all for keeping things original ! I would take it apart and what ever is florescent green I would paint black or green . Krylon.
Wasn't to sure about the neon green, but now that I see it in the light it actually looks great, gonna have to hunt one down! Great review
Woodman 29 yeah the neon isn't that bad. I really dig this vehicle a lot. Thanks for watching brother!
Also one of my favorite vehicles to come out of the neon 90s.
I had this vehicle as a kid and it was great! Nice review!
joefan82 thanks boss! I dig your channel brother!

I would prefer this without the large unposable gun, but it's a nice looking vehicle, and any APC type is welcome and much needed.
Recently bought it in pristine condition at a flea market in Mexico City. Thanks for the review! You sold me this APC!!!
Do you prefer this over the original? I'm currently on eBay debating which to get I want to get this one since I've seen less on it ya kno?

There is a variant where the upper and lower body green colors are flipped.

Nice.....but the G.I.JOE RHINO SO FAR IS THE BEST ONE ON WHEELS.
I don’t recall saying this was the best APC.
great review
Just paint the neon lime green a dark forest green. 👍
Terry Turner Yeah, I was considering doing that. I might.
I'm jealous 👍😂

Oh STFU you big baby. I’ll call them joystick if I want to.
Sorry, I was not meaning to ritacul. I was just genuinely confused by the misuse of the terminology.
hasbro gave what kids wanted there
So it's a prototype rhino.
Turtle Van
🤣
The colors of the guns are awful. It’s worth buying and re-painting imo
