It was a nice surprise, no doubt about that.
My son’s desert trooper was perfect as far as the joints go. I had to heat it pretty good to pop the body apart to get the gun belt on, though. I tried pulling him apart, and thought I was going to break it. We bought all of the reissues, and were impressed with all of them.
The later figures have been great, aside from the females who weren’t as good and had some issues.
I feel the knees are still a bit tight, I do use the warm baths for those, but my spec op reissues popped apart just fine, no heating needed.

Thank you for the review. I would point out that having separate gear packs enables one to do easier mixing and matching of gear packs and figures for the generic troopers. By doing this with delta troopers and the various gear packs like spec ops gear packs and others, I’ve been able to make multiple combinations and troop build very nicely. Just my two cents as a contrarian view point.

I have no issues with separate packs, but I think that you should be able to buy a fully assembled figure for the same price as Condor of the set+figure price equals a regular release figure.

It was the urban trooper and gear pack that was reissued and combined. I want to be honest I am very impressed with what Vala had to say. I also will be buying all his offerings. That truck will mostly likely be two purchases. Plus, the packs for the truck. I like his surprise drop in price, for some of those figures. Awesome Vala panel with good news. Also the pricing for the truck. He deserves an applause.
Well I am not all in, as there are just too many other lines I like more. With all that said, his panel was impressive and the price drop is to applauded, as no one does that.

Must do a short vid with your action force figures so far! I wish these army builders were available here in Brazil with fair prices though. So far, just picked to myself the wave 3 Eclipse, Killswitch and Pandora. They're awesome!!!
I like the troopers a lot better than the main characters. A lot of potential.
I actually don’t have that many and they are mixed in with Classified. Some, like this one is not mine but you can see all those figures in my Classified and Valaverse video I did at the end of 2022.

As much as I love the tan kit, I would've loved the vest to be more like the Desert Rat's instead of tan with with some coyote brown detailing.

I just got into Valaverse Action Force with Desert Rat and I think he’s Awesome !!! LoL !!! My only issue with the line is the lack of product available. I need the gear packs big time. I sure hope Mr Vala does a rerelease of the Delta/Desert/Special Ops troop builder figures and gear sets. I missed out.
I thought you were gonna talk about the back of the knee issue also. With those desert rat, duster, trigger pants… they don’t have a deep enough cut the back of the knee. It causes plastic tear and stick out sharply if you bend the knee fully.
I am glad mine didn’t have that issue. I’ll be on the look out. I like posing my figures.
I think I talked about that before, but my desert rat is always in a dead position 🤷🏻♂️

@@raypaz2947 more than half of my figures with that pant style have the issue. It only happens if you max flex the knees.
@@mamunestor maybe I haven’t maxed it out. Though I feel I really have put them through a lot of different poses.
I didn't realize the gear packs and characters had to be bought together. I need to get a Spec Ops trooper for my Spec Ops Gear Pack.
Probably will have to wait that’s been sold out for a minute now. Hopefully will be reissued
I kind of like that the gear packs and basic figures come separate. It’s a lazy customizers dream. I don’t generally like generic Army builders. I like each figure to be a character. So just using these same desert trooper bodies you can very easily deck out a mixed squad where everyone is visually distinct. The heavy armor from the Steel Brigade Gear pack looks awesome on the desert body. The green gear set and grey gear set also work week. As does the vest from Sgy Slaughter. Top it all off with some Marvel Legends heads. (The heads from the Old Man Logan 2 pack are amazing for this. Also the Kurt Russel heads from GotG2. And almost any winter soldier head.)
I agree with you regarding the stands, I don't need them or use them. As for the separate figures and kits, I hear ya, but like you said, it's a business decision, no point in making a fully kitted figure and also sell them separately, not just because of the customization possibilities, what if the fully kitted figure just doesn't sell as well? It would represent a bigger loss for Vala in the long term, people love spare kits, even if they don't use 'em, but buying a fully kitted generic looking figure for spare parts? Probably not gonna sell as well.

I do understand that the business decision, and I also realize that he knows people will buy both. But the fact that it costs more than a normal figure loaded out has always bothered me. If the total was the same as a Condor, than I would have a complaint.

I really like the cup hands. They are perfectly designed for the handgun pistol grip !!!!
No armament with an army builder was a head scratcher. I guess 1 small unpainted gun from the 80s keeps it from looking like a race car driver. But I have to admit he’s got a solid product going.
I never thought about them looking like race car drivers, but now I can’t not see it 😂

@@stephenpassaggio9975 🤨 drop down hit give way more articulation than the regular T joint and they're pretty good at holding up hell they're even thick enough to make sure they hold look at the crappy snake eyes movie figure how long that's been out and them joints still strong🤷🏽♂️

Shin cuts are not necessary when you have a hip swivel at the top. Also it’s anatomically incorrect.
So are double joints at the elbow and knees.
Kinda irritating that they do the gearcand figure second.....i get its ths joy of customizing....but why not just offer them with a load out ....add 8 or 10bucks..say 35....36......and then just offer upgrade gear packs for 10...12 bucks.....in this curre t incarnation...u drop 28bucks basically on an incomplete figure!!.....i have Desert Rat exclusive figure who comes with a decent amount of gear...and also trigger......these look great but should definetly be offerd with atleast some basic gear
